Wide-view Gas Mask Overlay

Hey!
This is my first addon/mod for Left 4 Dead 2. I hope that you enjoy it.

It's supposed to add a bit of realism to skins which have these kind of gas masks and it's supposed to simulate what you see when you wear a wide-view gas mask similar to the one the CEDA units are wearing.

This is best paired with character skins which feature such a mask.

Skins which I know are the following:
R6 Siege - Article 5 - Remastered series
CEDA Hazmat Unit[L4D1 Survivors]
COD Ghosts Hazmat Suits for L4D1/2 Survivors
Black ops 2 CDC [L4D2 Survivors]

Since this is a overlay and is therefore part of the HUD it's sadly going to stay while you perform 3rd person actions like healing. You could try to download the "First Person Animations" mod and that might fix the issue to some extend. Although it might look weird with some skins which feature night vision goggles or similar equipment (like the R6 Siege Article 5 series because it features NVGs). It also stays while aiming with the Hunting Rifle and Military Sniper.

It should be compatible with some if not most HUD mods. If there is a problem and you think it's linked to this mod then please notify me though!

Since someone asked what pistol mod is in the screenshots, it's the Heckler & Koch (H&K) VP9 from 8siandude.
