The No HUD mod probably modifies or overwrites the same files this mod modifies, therefore I it doesn't appear.
I personally can't really do much in that regard, since that's just how the game works. I suppose I could modify and upload another version of my mod, but I'm not sure if I want to bother with it.
This mod has nothing to do with the health bar or any other components. This is a overlay, not a HUD mod. If you don't want a HUD then install a mod which removes it.
I can look if I have the time and whether or not I want to put work into it (even if it isn't that much work) since I don't play L4D2 actively anymore.
So yeah, no promise that it will come in that regard.
i changed some hud mods and then i downloaded this one on top of them, and it worked
Because both of them change the UI in a way that is conflicting I believe.

Have you tried just subscribing to this overlay and nothing else?
Because I didn't change anything and there wasn't a new update on L4D2 which should have changed anything.
Seems like it!
If I remember correctly there was a mod for the addon screen where you can decide the load order of your mods, I'm not sure how it was called though... If I remember I can put it in here.
But if there are any other problems with the mod then I'd be more than happy to help out, I hope you have fun with the overlay and L4D2!
I'm not exactly sure what would cause it to not work. Again, both overlays are exactly the same in regards to their coding. So there shouldn't be any difference which should matter in regards to them working or not.
Did you try running the game without any other mods other than the overlay? Because if it works fine on a blank profile then the HUD scripts and HUD components you are running must be fucking with it somehow. I don't exactly know how they interact with each other which would cause this issue.
My guess is that your HUD scripts and components somehow fight over load order or whatever with my overlay. Although I'm not exactly sure as to how Source handles something like load order or file overwriting. So again, this is only a guess...
Explain please? For me both versions work fine. The code for both of them isn't any different, the only thing different about them is the texture.
So both of them should work without a problem. It might be the case that some of the other Workshop content you have conflicts with this, but at the end, this isn't exactly my problem because I did say what this was compatible with and with what is wasn't.
So again, please elaborate on "this mod doesn't quite work yet".
In the mod description is says nothing about it being compatible with overlays.
"These are ripped textures from Call of Duty games. This mod compatibile with:
-custom weapon huds
-custom ingame-pics\downed icons
-custom healthbar textures
-team health counter"
So there is the issue. Somewhere it replaces the same elements my overlay replaces and therefore creates a conflict.
I hope you enjoy & have fun with the overlay then. ^^
What mods are you using? Maybe there are mods somehow overwriting it.
Also, did you use any commands or mods which disable certain HUD elements?
