Description
Tested in SP and MP Thanks to RoyalWithCheese for testing it live on his server. Most knowledgeable and entertaining PZ streamer on twitch check him out on: https://www.twitch.tv/royalewithcheesetv

- Please note that the Remote Door Control Receiver is currently despawning in MP when placed on the ground. In SP I did a lot of tests and it did not despawn. You can stash it in any any movable container and place it next to the door and it works from inside it. It did not cause problems as well with despawn and duplicating.

- Due to a problem with the current linking mechanism(Remote changing number) which is out of my control as it is Vanilla functionality, and to solve the problem with multiple remotes working on the same Receiver. A new Master remote V2/V3 is craftable which will work with any door that has a Receiver next to it whether linked or not.

- Control your door / double door remotely(Can be used as Garage door opener) / supports all types of doors.

- Works when placed in any movable container(Currently Wooden crate among other containers are tested) next to the door.

- Can be used from cars(Vanilla functionality)

- Uses Vanilla Remote Controllers with different versions(Trigger option)
(Trigger option is currently not working in MP, Vanilla bug, works with hotkey only)

- Engineer Magazine Vol. 1 is used to learn how to Make Simple Remote Door Control Receiver and Master V2 Remote.

- To make Simple Remote Door Control Receiver(5 tiles range only not related to Remote): Skill Required: Electrical Level 2, Consumed items: Electric Wire(2), Electronics Scrap(7), Crafted Trigger(1).

- To make Master V2 Remote: Skill Required: Electrical Level 5, Consumed items: Electric Wire(2), Electronics Scrap(5), V2 Remote Controller(1).

- Engineer Magazine Vol. 2 is used to learn how to Make Remote Door Control Receiver and Master V3 Remote.

- To make Remote Door Control Receiver: Skill Required(Range related to Remote): Electrical Level 5, Consumed items: Electric Wire(10), Electronics Scrap(25), Crafted Trigger(1).

- To make Master V3 Remote: Skill Required: Electrical Level 6, Consumed items: Electric Wire(2), Electronics Scrap(5), V3 Remote Controller(1).

- Link the Remote Door Control Receiver with a Remote Controller then place it adjacent to the door(In a Wooden Crate to avoid despawning currently) but note the following:
• More than one Receiver can be linked to the same Controller(Vanilla functionality).
• One Receiver cannot be linked to multiple Remotes (Vanilla functionality), but Master remotes will work on every Receiver whether linked or not.
• Link can be checked by RemoteID in tooltip.

- Hotkey works when Remote Controller(s) is(are) in main Inventory or any wearable container(will trigger all of them,but for multiple Master remotes it will trigger the better version once only).

- In Coop. the Hotkey should work for main player only, while trigger functionality should work for any player.

- If you added this mod to an existing save you need to re-read Engineer Magazine Vol. 1, 2 to learn the recipes.

- Mod Options (Build 41) is REQUIRED for hotkey changing capability

- Should be old save compatible but please back up your save before adding this mod.

Yeah, update to B42 would be great. Best QOL Mod so far.

@Youma The working radius, the simple has a smaller range than the regular one.

What's the difference between the simple and regular reciever?

look into another mod for remote control if you see this message. youll go down a small rabbit hole trying to get it to work when it simply doesnt link.

I need to ask you something, I connected it normally and I checked that the door opened and closed automatically, but the connection keeps coming off, can you tell me why? I connected 16 doors to one control.
