I need to ask you something, I connected it normally and I checked that the door opened and closed automatically, but the connection keeps coming off, can you tell me why? I connected 16 doors to one control.

@Der_Stig I recently encountered an issue with the mod. I have a master V3 remote on me and I tried to open a door with receiver placed next to it. I heard the sound but the door/gate remained shut. That happened to me whether there is 1 door or multiple doors responding to the same master remote. I haven't tried this on a linked remote. Is there any way I could fix this?

Playing singleplayer, hot damn this thing works as advertised. Big thanks for the mod.

Note: I tried to craft "Small Bookcase" and put a trigger there for double doors, and it didn't work. Crafted crate works perfectly. Small crafted shelves too.

Suggestion: maybe add battery consumption? Like you would add AA battery to the container, or maybe even car battery, so they are slowly drained over time :O

It's possible to lock door when I use Remote Controllers to close door ?
Because I installed Superior Survivors - Update 17.3, and Hostile NPC will try to enter my base , so I used to lock all door in anytime.
If we can do this it will be a prefect mod to install with Superior Survivors - Update 17.3.

But the remote control V3 of the bomb can be connected, and the door can be controlled in single player games, but not in multiplayer games.

Sir can you add in your next update when the double doors or single doors are linked, door is locked by defaut and can manually open. Every time we used remote it will and when it close it's locked again automatically.

All good, got an airlock made from metal gates. It works great. You can even have the doors alternate if you use simple receivers.

@Sceadugengan This is very interesting. Actually you are 100% correct. I never tested other floors than ground floor. I will have to fix this bug in later releases. Thank you for the report.

It seems to work properly, but only for doors on ground floor.
The doors I had used in my previous tests were on the second floor and none of them seem to react to the receiver at all.

@Sceadugengan Just tested you combo on latest update and stable branch and it is working on both. Please try different combos and report back. You can spawn them in in debug mode. You do not need to go all the way to Ele. 5 to test it.

Singleplayer, there was no sound, plus I was standing pretty much next to the receiver, so definitely within the range.

@Sceadugengan SP or MP? did you hear the door opening sound? with V1 and the simple receiver you need to be in less range than 5 tiles to toggle the door.

It's not working for me either.
I've crafted the Simple Remote Door Control Receiver and V1 Remote Controller and linked both.
Both show the same remote ID.
For testing purposes I placed the receiver next to a door within my base and tried to trigger it with both the trigger option from the remote and the hotkey, but there's no change to the door.

- Hotkey you need mod options for then you find it under: Options -> Key bindings -> Hotkeys -> Stigs RDC Hot key
- You must have both controller and receiver in main Inventory -> right click on one of them -> link, then you should check that they have the same id. Place the receiver next to a door just like in the picture and it should work with the hotkey as well as trigger menu option for single player.

Hotkey not fuctioning, nothing really working to say lol, I can only craft the controllers and recievers but they dont show an id at all, and nothing works

@Yakamashii unfortunately Trigger option is currently not working in MP, Vanilla bug, works with hotkey only. This is why I never bothered with adding Trigger option for the master key. Thanks for reporting your testing results and your kind words

Just tested it on a test server (normal "Host" option) and the remotes, both linkes and the master versions, work only when pressing the hotkey. If I instead right click -> Trigger the linked remote, nothing happens and the master remote doesn't even have the trigger option in the right click menu. I love the functionality this mod adds though :)

Really digging this. Cruise into the garage really brings back childhood memories of this period.

I see you mentioned a hotkey but I cannot figure out how to activate/change it. I have Mod Options installed.

The linking process is completely vanilla so i was not able to debug it further or fix it in mod, but as a workaround you can now craft master remotes which should work with any receiver whether linked or not. Please comeback to me if you have any problems and thanks for your feedback.

I'm having this same problem of it not working after leaving for a while - it doesn't have to be far either, just a couple of blocks away. I had already read these comments so we are using V2 remotes. This is MP on a dedicated server I am running on another PC just for me and my friend to play on.

Hello, I made one linked to a V3 remote. Once linked it works when leaving my safehouse. After being gone for a bit and coming back home the remote still says linked but the door opener doesn't show linked any longer. Tried with it in my main inventory and backpack. Every time I leave and come back I have to re-link it. Anyone else getting this? FYI it's a MP server and I'm the only one using it so far as we're testing it.

@Essence you are welcome to change the code or to commission someone to do it for you. Anyone is allowed to change the code and re-upload it to steam. There are no special rights for this mod.

@dobby Hello, I understand your question. The hotkey was working but the code afterwords was comparing the used remote display name to an English string which changed for different interface languages. So i looked for a string which is not display name but class name to have it constant across all languages and this solved my problem.

Hi, I have a question for you about a patch you patched in the past. Korean users can't input on the keyboard, so you patched it so that non-English users can also input it. Can you tell me how you fixed it? For example, if you put a specific phrase in the Lua file. The reason I'm asking this is because non-English users are having issues with keyboard input (don't worry, it's not about your mod).

@Steezie If you had two receivers next to one door. Both linked and you had both remote controllers on you. The door would open and close so fast that you would only hear the sound not see the animation. So make sure you have 1 remote on your person or space the receivers out to the long distance between doors not the short one.

I messed around a little more and once i switched the remote to my backpack it started working. I have had it in my main inventory before and it worked, so im not exactly sure what I did besides simply transfer the remote between bags.
Again, this is a great mod =)
