Im going to need a YouTube guide on how to set this up. Apparently I am too dumb to figure this out...

Confirmed, Stormtroopers solution worked for me. I edited the sandbox.cfg and sandbox_config.sbc files in the save folder. saved and reloaded. Worked a treat.

Ok, so, to get asteroids back, you need to find in your %steam or steamgames folder%\steamapps\workshop\content\244850\2724371901 files Sandbox.sbc and Sandbox_config.sbc and add following nodes to both of them:

<ProceduralDensity>0.1</ProceduralDensity>
<ProceduralSeed>0</ProceduralSeed>

Note, that ProceduralDensity = 0.1 is equalds to Lowest dencity

It probably would work to edit your world's save as well, but I haven't tesed it.

Hope @Echthros will apply this fix for mod

Thanks! Is it possible to make it safe with the Industrial Overhaul mod?

@ParciTime It should, though the extended range of planet gravity might affect some of the space-based AI.

If I use this system and I also have other mods that I want to use, like modular encounters, with space, atmospheric and ground structures/ships added, will encounter generation still work?
Echthros  [author] 4 Jul, 2022 @ 11:21pm
@TheSuperintendt That would be one way to do it (and is how I did it). I believe the SEWorldPlugin actually has a gravity falloff slider now that you can use to set the falloff of new planets to 2 so that they are compatible with Real Orbits immediately. Editing the SANDBOX_0_0_0_.sbs file after you've added all the planets you want will always work, though.
