Merrow WII

After retrofitting an old mining vessel, an engineer comes across a wild old design concept--a shuttle with all the luxuries of a proper submarine (minus being luxurious). The Merrow WII is a reimagining of my first submarine.

The Merrow was billed as the Shuttle that could do it all; a modified Selkie, it boasts a Fabricator, Deconstructor, and Medical Fabricator, exterior gun(s), and even its own reactor. While at the (very brief) time of construction it was a heavily subsidized project, these days the Merrow is a highly niche engineers' experiment, and the reduced capabilities of some of its systems reflect that. While I personally now regard this as probably a mistake, you may find it more balanced, or at least more challenging, than the other versions of the Merrow that preceded it.

The reactor is weak, temperamental (more quick to catch fire or melt down), and also more fuel consumptive, the engine a bit weaker, the oxygen weaker and less energy consumptive, and its one battery actually boasting enhanced capacity and discharge rates. It only has one standard coilgun, and storage space is minimal and decentralized. At least the junctions are fine.
