Carthage war off

Description
This is just one file that disables the scripted war between rome and carthage in Divide et Impera. There won't be any problems with compatibility. You can just load this on top of everything.
It uses the gc_script from the 1.3 beta, but it will likely continue to work with later versions, because that file rarely changes much.
I also turned off the historic city information, because it uses a somewhat resource hungry iteration every time you clicked on any settlement.
The scripted armies that they get for their defense are still on.

Worked for me! Put it above the main DEI mods

Carthage still declared war on me after turn 7 despite positive relations and NA pact. Frankly I'm mostly annoyed with the DEI devs for hardcoding this BS into the game, the original method of triggering war by entering Sicily was much better than this garbage.

Can anybody verify if this works? I’d like to play a Rome campaign in which I’m not forced to slog through Africa. Would give opportunity for campaign variety, like going after barbarians or heading east

@Flamio @Rhetor

Sh*t still not working... having over 200 positive relation with Carthage, Defensive Alliance, Military Access and Trade Agreement, being friends with all their allies and enemies with all their enemys... still declaring war on me on turn 20 WHYYY

wanted a different campaign with rome and conquer the barbarians and not go trough the african slug every time...

i have this mod loadig very last but its still not working ... this really ruins my fun and i cant and wont play the campaign like this

I'm still getting Carthage declaring war around turn 20. I'm assuming it's still the DEI mod causing this, despite the lack of tension messages, due to them declaring war every reload despite having a non aggression pact.

so does this stop carthage declaring war all together? not just scripted but also if i step on there toes too much?

I have placed it on the top of the Dei mods and the very top of the mod loader and it still does not work? Am I doing something incorrect?

Just eh DeI mods, but nothing bad happens if you put it all the way on top.

Does this have to be on the top of all mods or just dei mods?
Rhetor  [author] 23 Feb, 2022 @ 3:27pm
@ben.timberlake2: You have to load this on top. What's on top overwrites what's below it, so submods always go on top.
