Secretmapper's Accelerating Zombies

Description
Adds Zombies that speed up as you get chased - the horde getting more and more bloodthirsty the longer they see you.

Zombies start from 50% up to 100% sprinter speed. They slow down as they lose line of sight.

Important Note:
This mod affects Sprinter speeds. This means they must spawn for the mod to take effect (i.e. sandbox options or through mods that spawn sprinters).

Other Features:
- Inverted Mode - Zombies start at full sprint and slow down as they lose energy.
- Customizable Tick Rate - Customize amount of ticks needed to speed up/slow down zombies.
- Fresh Blood Trait - Makes zombies immediately start out at 100% speed.

Compatibility:

This mod should be compatible with mods that change zombie speed types - i.e. Customizable Zombies (which I recommend) and Night Sprinters

This mod is not compatible with mods that change zombie animation speeds - i.e. Slower Sprinters

Hi! Could you please let me know is there a possibility that this mod will be updated to B42's version when it becomes stable?

Your mod is absolutely fantastic when it comes to balanced sprinters presets and there's nothing like it in the workshop. Flat speed reductions don't feel natural but your mod actually makes sprinters more dangerous each second you doesn't deal with them when being spotted.

add a option that makes them start normal then after a while go to inverted because they got tired

+1 for custom start/end speed parameters! Brilliant mod though, exactly what I was after with the inverted mode.

@JeanneIsMyWaifu Hi can you make a mod that there is a 50% random chance to get scratched or bitten when pushing a zombie? and the bite and scratch rate can also be modified? Like there should be an option to enable the bite or scratch option and change chance of getting it? if the player has armor then the zombie can damage the armor depending on the protection amount and What it protects and its condition. I will give you alot of points if you make it !!

Seems to have a conflict with newer versions of Lifestyle. Can post a stack trace if you'd like. Would dearly love to use both of these together, any chance of a fix? Also noted it on the Lifestyle github in case it's on their end.

Could we get an option where they start off at 25%? Or even give the player control over sprinters starting speeds so they start off as normal shamblers then their speed ramps up rapidly?

So I played this mod with "Random Zombies Day and Night" and the zombies never sped up for me. The only thing that happened was some time around 05:10 aswell as 21:50 every single zombie on the map turned into sprinters for about 10 ingame minutes...

Imagine the horror on my face when I kited a horde of zombies and they all just begin sprinting at me full speed. Needless to say, I lost a couple of runs to that :') :steamsalty:
