Hi! Could you please let me know is there a possibility that this mod will be updated to B42's version when it becomes stable?

Your mod is absolutely fantastic when it comes to balanced sprinters presets and there's nothing like it in the workshop. Flat speed reductions don't feel natural but your mod actually makes sprinters more dangerous each second you doesn't deal with them when being spotted.

add a option that makes them start normal then after a while go to inverted because they got tired
Kosm 2 Oct, 2024 @ 7:11pm
+1 for custom start/end speed parameters! Brilliant mod though, exactly what I was after with the inverted mode.

@JeanneIsMyWaifu Hi can you make a mod that there is a 50% random chance to get scratched or bitten when pushing a zombie? and the bite and scratch rate can also be modified? Like there should be an option to enable the bite or scratch option and change chance of getting it? if the player has armor then the zombie can damage the armor depending on the protection amount and What it protects and its condition. I will give you alot of points if you make it !!

I agree with @Mesrszmit
Mesrszmit 12 Aug, 2024 @ 1:41am
It would be cool if we could customize the starting and ending speed %

Seems to have a conflict with newer versions of Lifestyle. Can post a stack trace if you'd like. Would dearly love to use both of these together, any chance of a fix? Also noted it on the Lifestyle github in case it's on their end.
sussyslurp 14 Dec, 2023 @ 2:59pm
could probably change the code yourself in the zomboid workshop folder
Cataclysmic_Armageddon 18 Aug, 2023 @ 3:06am
Could we get an option where they start off at 25%? Or even give the player control over sprinters starting speeds so they start off as normal shamblers then their speed ramps up rapidly?
Luna 11 Aug, 2023 @ 8:40am
So I played this mod with "Random Zombies Day and Night" and the zombies never sped up for me. The only thing that happened was some time around 05:10 aswell as 21:50 every single zombie on the map turned into sprinters for about 10 ingame minutes...

Imagine the horror on my face when I kited a horde of zombies and they all just begin sprinting at me full speed. Needless to say, I lost a couple of runs to that :') :steamsalty:

For some reason its still working even though its turned off
Weird
malonebugsy7 29 Nov, 2022 @ 11:04pm
Pretty slow for me.
Benchmark137 25 Nov, 2022 @ 11:47pm
Does not work, its just regular sprinters. they too fast
The Stallion 13 Nov, 2022 @ 3:34am

cjvcooldude 17 Sep, 2022 @ 10:38am

b41sprinter mod forces full sprinters in multiplayer. I've played with up to 4 people with normal pop and 8g ram. No issues for us so far. This accelerating mod seems like a fun alternative tho.
Derplordofdeath 17 Aug, 2022 @ 10:24pm
sprinters are disabled in multiplayer right now because of a performance issue from what i gathered : / kinda sucks ngl
Nörr 28 Jul, 2022 @ 7:29pm
Works fine for me.
Jinshushei 4 Jun, 2022 @ 7:43pm
sadly, it's busted. keeps reverting to fast shamblers
Companion Cube 17 May, 2022 @ 6:49am
dsnt work for me now
Hevertus 15 May, 2022 @ 9:12pm
Do I understand correctly that if I want to get long and slowly accelerating sprinters, I have to enter the maximum value in the first field and the value -20 in the tick field?
Space Tendies 5 Mar, 2022 @ 5:04pm
Same happening to me, defaults to fast shamblers
pynoTTV 26 Feb, 2022 @ 5:19pm
is it normal that the "runners" setting does not remain saved on the server and is always automatically changed at every restart?
JeanneMeHarder  [author] 17 Feb, 2022 @ 2:58pm
@StormFather I haven't tested it but I don't see a problem - it should just work.

@Agitatio I think OldPeopleBurning is correct - 60 ticks a second.
OldPeopleBurning 17 Feb, 2022 @ 2:14pm
@Agitatio I think its 60 in one tick
Agitatio 17 Feb, 2022 @ 9:42am
How many ticks are there in a second? Wondering so I can translate the tick value to second.
StormFather 16 Feb, 2022 @ 6:57pm
Does this mod work with the active day / night setting, so if we had active at night sprinters they would slow down or speed up only at night?
Viruana 13 Feb, 2022 @ 7:06pm
@Secretmapper -- That's cool! Any chance for an option to change the % values?
JeanneMeHarder  [author] 13 Feb, 2022 @ 3:36pm
@alfie You're in luck, the mod has a reverse option!
Valkyrienyanko 13 Feb, 2022 @ 1:42pm
This mod should be implemented as options in the games base sandbox settings
alfie 13 Feb, 2022 @ 1:27pm
the same mod but reversed would be the best thing ever
Viruana 13 Feb, 2022 @ 11:00am
@MahmutEmmi -- "Pillow's Random Spawns" has a "by Profession" spawn option and spawns you in applicable areas based on your Profession. Then to dress yourself up, there's mods that unlock all outfits for you to choose from (the base game has this in the sandbox settings, but it's currently broken and to make a new character on the same map you have to back out to the main menu and load the save).
Zolast 12 Feb, 2022 @ 5:10pm
@mahmutEmmi Yes I actually believe that his a setting I've seen before either from a mod or base game. I'm not familiar with what causes it. I use a custom start mod that allows me to dress himself up if I want to roleplay like you're saying.
Orbit 12 Feb, 2022 @ 12:12pm
is there anyone that make a mod about, depends on your job you spawn with example: fire fighter, you have fire fighter clothes in wardbore, axe in garage or stuff, Police: police stuff in wardbore and etc
Goat Poker 12 Feb, 2022 @ 10:26am
God, I can't describe to you just how much I wanted this to be a feature. Thanks!
Toddlich 12 Feb, 2022 @ 8:29am
Like @marshmallow Justice said, a user determined cap of top speed would make it even more useful
Shot of Depresso 9 Feb, 2022 @ 7:59pm
Cool idea but vanilla sprinters are too unbalanced for me to want to use this.
Jinshushei 9 Feb, 2022 @ 8:08am
this is sick
marshmallow justice 9 Feb, 2022 @ 7:17am
Is it possible for this mod to have another sandbox setting that determines the "maximum cap speed' of a sprinter? Basically slower sprinters integration. So rather than going from shamblers up to sprinters, they'd go from shamblers to.. well... slower sprinters, at a value the user chooses? Ie. 80% of normal sprint speed.
ЯEБAЛ 8 Feb, 2022 @ 1:34pm
Is it compatible with Xeph Zombie Modifications? I guess it is, cause Xeph only makes random spawn of sprinters. I just prefer Xeph over Customizable Zombies because it lets you randomize more than just speed but sight and hearing as well
YepThatsMyName 8 Feb, 2022 @ 1:11pm
@marshmallow justice
Just lose the sprinters before they reach full speed
Or tire them out till they are slower.
Stormrage 8 Feb, 2022 @ 12:26pm
Thanks!
marshmallow justice 8 Feb, 2022 @ 12:00pm
REALLY AWESOME!!!!!
Kind of makes a cool dynamic if you run inverted; day runs are just as risky as night but if you have a route setup you can tire the horde out and lose them, as long as you don't keep running into new ones ... but at night, it's relentless (if you have night sprinters). Sucks that "slower sprinters" doesn't work though, full sprinters are too much for me since I don't like running cardio-nut characters, so I run the -40% speed ones in Slower Sprinters.
OldSorrow 8 Feb, 2022 @ 11:44am
buen mod
