Balanced Buyable Building Slots
Like playing tall? Ever wanted to differentiate your highly developed provinces from the filth of your neighbours? Well then this mod is for you!

Unlike the existing "buy building slots" mods on the Workshop, this mod is meant for users looking for something more balanced, and that seamlessly fits into the vanilla gameplay. I also opted away from using scrollbars, which I thought were inconvenient to use as they hid most of the buildings away, and you would have to constantly scroll through your baronies to find which buildings needed upgrading. Instead, this mod subtly adjusts the existing UI to fit everything in, and without disrupting the rest of the interface.

With this mod, you are able to expand your baronies by up to three extra building slots. However, your barony must be increasingly highly developed before you are allowed to do so. This helps differentiate a tall playthrough from a wide one, because a player playing wide would never be able to develop their baronies highly enough to take advantage of this mod. Therefore, it helps tall players keep up with wide players by granting them the much needed bonuses that they likely lack when compared to a player playing wide who owns holdings all over the map with special unique buildings.

In order to expand your barony by one building slot, you must:
  • have developed the county to at least 40 development,
  • have at least 800 gold
For your second slot, you must:
  • have developed the county to at least 60 development,
  • have at least 700 gold
For your third slot, you must:
  • have developed the county to at least 75 development,
  • have at least 500 gold

I think this is a fair and rewarding balance, which ensures that only a player focusing on playing tall will be able to exploit it.

Compatibility
This should be compatible with any mod, except for ones that modify the window_county_view.gui file, such as other "buy building slots" mods.

It is safe to enable this mod anytime during your current playthrough. However, if you disable it during your playthrough after having built several building slots, your interface will reset to default, and your county screen may have overlapping buttons such as this[imgur.com].

Highly recommend using with my other Found Universities Anywhere mod!

I'm really waiting for an answer. I want to switch to this modification (while playing on Never Better Buyable Building Slot + Infinite Building Slot).
