Soft Lighting Session v2 (Read Desc.)

Description
This is an improved version of my first Soft Lighting Session. This is meant for a single character or a centered render.
Feel free to move the lights and camera around to your liking.
The camera DOES have aperture on a higher setting and a close focal distance, so keep that in mind when moving the camera around.
~ IF THERE ARE ANY OUTSTANDING ISSUES PLEASE LET ME KNOW IN THE COMMENTS ~

The major improvements are:
- Better shadows
- Better rim lights
- Subsurface scattering lights
- An axis point to zero in your model's 'rootTransform'
- 4 camera angles! (Close Up, Full Body, Close Up Isometric, and Full Body Isometric)

To get the white background, you need to dowload the Studio Backdrop.

If you want more sessions like this, feel free to let me know.

Not at the moment. I myself struggle with matching lighting to backgrounds. It's something I'm trying to be better at.

Do you plan making lighting sessions but with background aswell? Would be useful for understanding how to light up areas too.

can I add u to send screen shots?

Make sure your map is loaded in. I believe I used black_void, or whichever is in default SFM (this is an older session, so I have forgotten).

Unsubscribe, delete the session, and re-subscribe. The starting position of the camera may have been moved.

Make sure the playhead in the clip editor and motion editor is inside one of the shots.

Check to see if your main camera has been switched to your work camera, and hasn't moved to an empty area of the map.

Check to see if the 'Lights' group in the animation set editor is visible (the eye icon to left of the name).

I loaded it and I dont see lights... im I stupid? do i need to do something? I am very confused

You can, if you want. The lights are posed to cover a small area, so your characters may need to be close together. But they're not locked into place, so you can move them however you like.

If I want to make a poster with multiple characters on camera I jsut have to move the lights or what? I've used this session before and it's cool so far and saved me a lot of time

Why do we need ss scattering and bounce light?

i think you need to change the export path to not use the project's path, which doesn't exist depending if you even have an E drive installed on your PC
