Description
Vietnam-specific gear and tweaks for the 3/5 Marines Arma group[discord.gg]

Includes:
  • Extra Marine uniforms from 1965-67 era: P53 HBT, P56, OG-107 with jungle boots, and mixed OG-107/TCU uniforms
  • TCUs with white t-shirts
  • "3rd Pattern" or "Okinawa" Flak vest
  • M1961 Kit with M1956 and M1944 suspenders
  • A bright khaki K2B Helicopter Crew uniform, worn by USMC pilots and heli crew in 1967
  • Additional bandoliers and buttpacks in glasses/NVG slot
  • Redone Mosquito net helmets, to closer match the size of other M1 helmets
  • Tweaked capacity of all vests in S&S, to closer match their visuals. Based on weights of SOG:PF items, as well as ACE weight system
  • Tweaked flak bandoliers, which don't clip into body parts so much
  • Tweaked many USMC vests, pouch placement and bandoliers
  • Additional flak vests with only bandoliers, common in late war
  • Numerous items added to glasses/NVG slot (bandoliers, suspenders, radio packs)
  • Additional backpacks in different colors, and a packboard with poncho roll
  • standalone poncho roll "backpack", attached to flak vest
  • HELMET OVERHAUL! Over 1000 USMC helmet combinations, with ACE Arsenal Extended
  • TCU OVERHAUL! Over 2500 tropical combat uniform combinations, with ACE Arsenal Extended

Thanks to simcardo and the S&S team for providing materials needed to make this mod, and to Barden and the SOG:PF dev team for providing templates to retexture assets with. Credit for ideas/requirements goes to Toney from 3/5.

neither, they are overwritten. The original models are still in their respective pbos in S&S, I've overwritten them with models in my pbo.

Any more questions from the peanut gallery?

that's intentional, models are changed to reflect what our group wanted for realism and visual fidelity

This mod is great, but I found that it seems to conflict with the original S&S, causing the original S&S model to change:steamhappy:

it's S&S ACRE Compatibility. I thought I removed that from the compats list, maybe not. I'm about to be away from internet for a couple weeks, I'll look when I'm back.
