Description


Setting up filters for what items to destroy by smelting, burning, deconstructing, recycling etc. is always tedious.
I find I often have two or three recipies per bench to match all types of items.
To simplify this, the mod creates a useless and a non-useless filter to the Apparel and the Weapon lists.
The settings lets you define conditions that makes something useless.

Currently it has settings for
  • % Hit points
  • Quality range
  • Tainted/clean
  • Biocoded/non-biocoded

If any of the above settings match, it is considered useless.
If not, its non-useless.

I created this mod mostly to simplify for myself, but hopefully someone else gets use out of it!

this mod is stupendously useful, but it seems to be breaking my games. My pawns are getting stuck in some sort of pathing/job loop and removing the mod seems to have fixed it. Here are some logs, maybe they'll help?

adding normal quality to the lower bound seems to also mark qualityless items (eg grenades, disruptor flare packs, etc) as useless; this seems unintentional?

any chance the biocoded filter would check if the related pawn is actually a colonist or no? this way it marks only biocoded items to outsiders as useless

Bless you, Mlie, this filter saves me so much time micromanaging. I used to spend hours setting up filters and this does it with just a few clicks. Love your work.
