There has been a few changes now to vanilla Stellaris regards to traits, I have not been keeping this mod up to date with those as its just too much work.

Updated and revised version of the mod Enhanced Traits by KiritekQQ and Enhanced Traits – Bugfixes by MrFunEGUY I also incorporated the minor bug fix by Ariphaos

Some of the added content from Enhanced Traits has been removed completely or replaced to allow for better balance and compatibility with other mods.

I have added additional positive and negative traits to almost all standard types, meaning there are 4 positive and 4 negative for almost all traits, this has also been carried onto Lithoid species with there respective traits.

The additional traits kept from Enhanced Traits has been the metallurgists, artisan, chemists and happiness modifying traits.
The pop food upkeep has also been kept with some changes also added for Lithoids with minerals upkeep.

I have made some adjustments to the Species editing window, mainly to try tidy it up a little.

Almost all non-vanilla AI modifiers have currently been leveled out so AI should avoid using negative traits. I will possibly look into improving AI usage at a later stage. Currently there are some exceptions with regards to time passing as per vanilla.

The additional traits has no AI weight on Ethics attraction.

Compatibility
This mod replaces following files
- common/traits/04_species_traits.txt
- common/traits/05_species_traits_robotic.txt
- common/species_archetypes/00_species_archetypes.txt
- interface/species_mod_window.gui.txt

Any mod that adds traits without overwriting the originals would be compatible.
If you use a mod to select more traits place it below this one.

Additional Notes
I am continuing to go through all traits and localization and changing what I feel needs changed, as well as some of the Icons to the best of my ability.
The changes I do make should not have an impact on gameplay as I will be doing my best to prevent that.

I have not yet counted all added traits feel free to.

Traits such as the charismatic and repugnant take effect in other areas of the game such as pop jobs so making changes to these is currently not planned as would result in a larger incompatibility with other mods.

Other than lithoid I have not extended this to advanced traits yet, may do this for a later updated for traits robust, delicious and fertile.

I apologise, but no I made no changes to the ethics or pop attraction. This mod is basically dead to be honest, I don't currently have any plans to update it as it takes too much time. Also not sure I have the skill to make the required ethics changes.

But some of the vanilla traits add to the appeal of Ethics.
"Strong" and "Very strong" increase the attractiveness of militarism.
"Traditional" enhance the appeal of Spiritualism.
Etc.

No these are almost all base off vanilla traits. The additional ones are mainly resource generation.

Do new traits affect attraction to a particular ethic?

Not currently, but the ids apart from the completely new traits are just the original traits with numbers 1 to 4 at end i.e. trait_intelligent4 or trait_adaptive3. The newer traits follow similar naming trait_unintelligent[1-4] trait_happy[1-4].

Thank you I have fixed those two bugs you mentioned. Have not updated the version number though as I have not checked it against the current version of the game yet.

No worries, I've never really done modding at all before myself so I suppose if I ever did seriously consider modding myself, just knowing where to find all these files may well be an advantage. Thank you for creating this mod at all!
