Gladiators

Gladiators are a small modification to the Gothic 1 arena format, where the player has to fight crowds of opponents in a limited area. The mod was created as an experiment. The task was to practice working with artificial intelligence and test a set of mechanics that could later be used in a large project. However, for the Gladiators, a complete story and elementary role-playing is implemented.

Neron is a famous person in the Kingdom. He organizes brutal gladiator fights involving humans and monsters. The most influential people of the country are invited as spectators, which makes fame not only for the organizers, but also for the fighters. The only surviving winner will get the title and popular recognition. But will you cope with all the difficulties, or will your body be fed to bloodthirsty monsters and to the amusement of the public?
