New important update:

The update includes:
  • Taiga Special Edition now on the new game test version.

  • Removed some floating trees in the southern starting area.

  • Vegetation has been slightly changed in a few places.

  • The duplicate customs buildings have been removed.

Really nice map. Unfortunately ship lines are broken. The ships spawn at the end of the mountain river and get stuck immediately because they can't find a path inside the map, looks like some parts of the river outside the borders is impassable for ships.

I tried changing it, but I can't edit the terrain outside the border (the game demands excavators in range that i cannot place there), and I have no idea how to remove the entry point for ships to a better location. I hope you are still watching this, so you could hopefully fix this.

Sorry, hatte deine Antwort gerade erst gesehen. Die Idee mit den doppelten Zollstationen finde ich an sich nicht schlecht, es bleibt ja jedem selber überlassen, ob man sie benutzt oder nicht. Für den Anfang sind sind sie im Realismus Mode eine Bereicherung, da man mit einer die notwendige Infrastruktur ( Feuerwehr etc.) versorgen und die andere für Bautrupps verwenden kann. Im späteren Verlauf braucht man dann meist nur noch eine, denke ich. Wenn es nicht zu viel Aufwand ist, kannst du bei weiteren Projekten ja vielleicht zwei Versionen anbieten.

Mit dem gespiegelten Übergang war auch nur eine Idee, da man so ein großes Gleisvorfeld bauen kann, ohne groß mit Überführungen etc. arbeiten zu müssen. Da ist man durch das Spiel ja leider ein wenig eingeschränkt, wenn es funktional sein, aber auch gut aussehen soll. Ich bin aber auf deine nächsten Projekte gespannt :D

Thinking further it is probably best to release a new version with double customs houses, as folk may get confused if another set of custom houses appear.

I'm sorry paradoxbound, I was too hasty. I should have created a discussion board for updates. I will change that. Some players no longer wanted duplicate customs buildings. On the other hand, you're right that it's much faster to play with the cosmonaut.

Should I modify this version or should I publish a copy with duplicate customs buildings?

"The duplicate customs buildings have been removed". Why have you done this? Stop changing major features of a map, some of us wanted the duplicate custom houses to speed up the glacial rate of construction during a Cosmonaut Start.
