The World in Year 1900

Description
Hello, everyone! I would just like to say thank you for reading this, and I hope the following information can help you!

Instructions for setting up the map:
Click the green button, Subscribe. This downloads the scenario onto your computer.
Go to the directory where you store your Civ 5 mods, maps, etc. The folder should be called Sid Meier’s Civilization 5. If you need help finding this folder, please let me know!
Go to the folder called MODS. If it is not there, please let me know!
Go to the folder called The World in Year 1900.
Copy the file Earth1900.Civ5Map. It should be a CIV5MAP File.
Return to the Sid Meier’s Civilization 5 directory.
Go to the folder called Maps. If it is not there, please let me know!
Paste the file Earth1900.Civ5Map into this folder, called Maps.
Start the game (Sid Meier’s Civilization 5).
Go to Mods.
Click Accept.
Check “The World in Year 1900” if it is not already checked.
Click Next.
Click Single Player.
Click Set Up Game.
Click Map Type. It should be right under the Leader.
Click Additional Maps on the sidebar to the right.
Scroll down to “Giant Earth” and click it. There may be multiple because “Giant Earth” is a common name for maps. Don’t worry--you will know which one is mine. Keep reading.
Click Load Scenario.
Check to make sure the Map Type is “Giant Earth”, the Map Size is Huge, the Difficulty Level is King, and the Game Pace is Marathon. Note: Please do not change these settings; these are ideal for the scenario that I have created. If you like the easier difficulties, I promise this scenario won’t be too difficult for you because it isn’t a normal game. It’s a modified game. The Game Pace can be lower than Marathon, but that would make the date go through the century very very quickly.
You should be good to go! Enjoy! If you have any issues with anything, please just tell me in the comments, and I’ll try to fix it.

The city state names sometimes do NOT match up with the city name on the map. It is possible to do this, but I do not have the knowledge or experience to do this, so I am leaving a chart thingy below!

CITY STATE NAME = CITY NAME ON MAP
Bogotá = Bogotá (Colombia)
Buenos Aires = Buenos Aires, Córdoba, Bahía Blanca (Argentina)
Panama City = Panama City (Panamá)
Kiev = Caracas (Venezuela)
Malacca = Lima (Perú)
Kyzyl = La Paz (Bolivia)
Vilnius = Santiago (Chile)
Tyre = Quito (Ecuador)
Geneva = Asunción (Paraguay)
M’banza-Kongo = Managua (Nicaragua)
Sidon = Santo Domingo (Dominican Republic)
Genoa = Port-au-Prince (Haiti)
Melbourne = Havana (Cuba)
Monaco = Copenhagen, Reykjavik, Godthaab (Denmark)
Lhasa = Lhasa (Tibet)
Samarkand = Ulaanbaatar (Mongolia)
Sofia = Sofia (Bulgaria)
Kathmandu = Bangkok (Siam)
Ormus = Ha’il (Saudi Arabia)

Each civilization has two full policy trees completed. Many of them are one of the three basic trees (Tradition, Liberty, Honor) and one of the others (Piety, Aesthetics, Commerce, etc.), but this is not always the case! Here are all of the completed policy trees for each civilization! Many are unique, but some are unfortunately the same! I tried to mix them up as much as possible, but some of them had to make sense for the civilization and time period, so that’s why some of them are the same as others.

Good concept. Needs a powerful computer with lots of memory. Also moving the files around is a pain. I copied the files to my laptop but it took forever for the program to try to start. Both computer with i7 and 8 and 12 mg ram. As England I only had Russa and Chine to beat, however when I went to take a city the computer would take forever to process the information (previously in other games when this happened the game would shut down). England took forever to stop losing money. I only found an oil well in north africa when I beat the french. Playing russia therr was not a single coal min in the whole country. I would suggest that each country gets one of each resource. But like I said I love the concept. :o)
