Are We Friends Now?

Description
We'll see about that.
In vanilla Kenshi, when you are allied to either the Starving Bandits or Vagrants, they will begin to approach you more often to ask for money. If you are charitable, they'll escort you as bodyguards for 500g or more.

With this mod, if any of them are still alive after their escort mission is complete (24h), you can talk to them again for the chance to recruit one and a small increase in reputation. Though, babysitting those weaklings for that long can be a challenge. Think of it as an opportunity for roleplaying or discounted recruits.

Please note, this mod also removes the vanilla bug where donating to starvers will give you reputation without actually charging you.

Pro Tip: Enable the "Heal allies" feature in the AI menu to keep your escort alive longer. Be careful with this though; if your party starts healing an ally, they might also choose to defend them against attackers. And when your allies are a local menace, well...

Bonus Feature:
Enabled the ability to view the Vagrants in your Faction window, for your convenience. Normally, they are not listed under this window. Now, with this feature, you can track your progress toward being considered allies.

Hello, the author. I'm working on my own mod that globally improves interactions with factions and would like to use your mod to integrate it into my mod. Can I do this? I will give you credit

You know what, @Biggus Dickus? I thought you were talking about another mod of mine and missed an important detail. To ally with any faction, you need over 50 relations with them or thereabouts. In fact, for this mod you won't need to sneak up on them and all that. Just do whatever you can to heal the bandits whether they are standing or on the ground, especially the squad leaders. If they attack you, well, heal them afterward and your relations will gradually go up.

Relations go down if your opponent dies after you've fought them, as well as using the [Attack Target] command, but retaliating doesn't hurt your relations very much.

I also recommend another mod called "Improve Relations Through Healing".

I see thanks

If your relations with them are -25 or worse, they will always be hostile (red indicator). You can improve this by healing them when they are down; healing bandit leaders gives the best returns.

If your relations are not this bad, try hiding around until another group of bandits beats them up and leaves. If you keep your distance during this, the starving bandits will not become hostile toward you, and you'll have a chance to use the features in this mod. Basically, you may need to sneak up on these guys to keep them from attacking you on sight.

Hey Gevurah,

I just updated the UPK, which also includes the bugfix you added in your mod. Thanks again for letting me include it!
