Description
This submod now does nothing. I've re-enabled siege battles in AI General even without this submod.

@paperpancake Thanks for that info....I was wondering why the "Enable All Saves" option didn't appear as in WH2...Obviously, it should, but this is a good fix!

@pfairweather01 Good point. Alternatively, you can use the "Enable All Saves" checkbox to allow you to load games even if you change your mod list.

To get the checkbox to appear in the game, you might need to change set incompatible_save_games_enabled to true in the game's preferences.script.txt. For Windows, you can find that file in the folder at %appdata%\The Creative Assembly\Warhammer3\scripts

WARNING! You still need to have this mod enabled to load campaigns saved before it became obsolete...otherwise the save will appear red in the list and the LOAD button will be greyed out...

I'll hop in. I'll try running the different unit sizes as well as some safe unit mods and see if anything crashes.

Thank you very much for the feedback on successful siege battles. I will continue to monitor feedback for a bit longer, but this is very good confirmation so far.

Ran a bunch of siege battles between last week and this week. Large armies and regular sized. No crashes to report.

FYI paperpancake, I've played a total of 6 siege battles today with a variety of armies and maps. Some of them I deliberately used a lot of low-tier units to try and really push the model count. I did not experience any crashes; everything was quite smooth actually. Thanks as always for your efforts o7

I played about a dozen siege batles (with this mod active since the beginning of battle) during last month, no crashes so far. Todaytried Kislev T5 siege by Khorne vs Kislev with RoRs, gave ram and siege tower to demons - no crash.

I think I'm getting much fewer crashes during siege battles when I use today's updated version of AI General 3, even if though I'm trying hard to make it crash. But since I always struggled to reproduce the bug consistently, I'm hesitant to celebrate. I want to get a better feel for whether siege battle crashes are still happening for players in their typical use, and how often if so.

To all you brave players that want to risk the crash and test siege battles: as you play using today's new update (the one with MCT support), can you count how many siege battles can you successfully fight before one crashes on you? Only count the battles with walls. If you don't ever get a crash even after many siege battles, even better.

Okay. Experienced 2x CTD finally under these matching situations. Ogre Kingdoms. Siege battle. No equipment. All under AI control. AI casted a summon spell (Lore of Beasts, Manticore summon) Game froze, then crashed. Tried again later, diff city. First time it was cast, it was fine. Second cast: freeze/crash.
Dunno if any of that helps. But I can work around things like that. Love your mod regardless and the work you've done and continue to do.
