  • Live Feed can be switched between black and white day vision and thermal.
  • Mark up to four targets via the communication menu (no switching between UAVs necessary).

Ingame Briefing
Situation
As NATO forces are preparing for the invasion of Altis following the AAF attack on NATO forces a month prior, the USS Virtuous has been tasked to engage key AAF and CSAT targets with cruise missiles. The USS Virtuous, callsign Swordfish, is ca. 10 km southwest of the Altian coast with the Columbia-class submarine USS Illinois, callsign Raider, which will continue further north. Stealth fighters, callsign Jester-1 and Jester-2, are awaiting the elimination of the enemy's air defense. A recon squad will be brought in via helicopter, callsign Swordfish-3, from the USS Virtuous to secure the AAC airfield.
Priority 1 targets are anti-air positions.
Priority 2 targets are fighter jets parked at the main Airport.
Priority 3 targets are military information infrastructure.
Priority 4 targets are military command posts.

Mission
Eliminate all priority targets marked on the map!

Execution
1. Take control of the Mk41 VLS.
2. Mark the targets with the communication menu (0-8-1-)
3. Destroy the Prio 1 Targets.
4. Destroy the Prio 2 Targets.
5. Destroy the Prio 3 Targets.
6. Destroy the Prio 4 Targets.
7. Send confirmation of the end of the fire mission via radio (0-8-2).

Signal
See ingame briefing.

Author’s Notes
This mission primarily resulted from the idea of a live feed system. Whilst it started out as a restricted system only supporting certain screens and a hard set number of live feeds, it should now work with any screen, any weapon (even handguns) and with up to seven live feeds (engine limitation).
The standalone live feed script and documentation may be released in due time.
The live feed will most likely only work in Singleplayer.
Killzone Kid’s scripts for a bullet cam[killzonekid.com] and render to texture[killzonekid.com] very well deserve to be mentioned here!
Rapidly clicking the executable briefing texts in the ‘execution’ section of the briefing may result in the markers visually disappearing. They will also only work after the mission starts.
The player has binoculars, so that the idle animations can be avoided. You can also use them for a close up of the screen.
Don’t jump off the ship. There’s no way back up.

Pretty cool, nice script!

@stevenlmas Ah, I see ^^. Thanks for the feedback! I intentionally left it as Black and White, just because I thought it looked cooler :D. Problem with drones orbiting is, that I thought it would not make very much sense story wise, although story was not really my focus here. Plus it would require too many drones for all targets and PIP is not an option either as it is engine limited to 7 feeds at a time.

Don't be a 1D10T like me. Watch the video before you try it - then it will make sense. Pretty cool mod, thanks. Would be cool to have option for color PIP. Would love to have a few drones orbiting so you can look at your handiwork from above....

Thanks @Aasgeyer - I think I figured out what's going on. When I launch a missile, it pretty much goes straight up to ~24000 feet and explodes, so all I was seeing was gray sky then static when missile explodes. I can follow the shells firing so PIPs working. What am I missing with the missiles? I go to map, 0-8-1, choose mark target, click map, go to missile UAV control, fire. Tried clicking targets, tried selecting Pri 1, 2 etc... they always go straight up and explode like a million dollar bottle rocket :)

@stevenlmas Have you enabled PIP under "Esc > Options > Video PIP > at least low"?

This looks pretty cool but I'm probably missing something obvious. Nothing happens in the PIP on the screens. I can go to map, pick targets for missiles, go to VL UAV, and shoot missiles, watch missiles on the map, but that's it. I'm not able to access the laptop or get back to the help screens. Might be cool to have a few drones circling the targets areas so you can watch from above, too.
