Description
Medusa
100% vanilla balanced Medium sized submarine designed for campaign, comes with adjusted bot way-points for solo play and is newbie friendly, submarine is fairly minimalistic with components so the sub has very good performance whilst maintaining nice aesthetics.

Features
Advanced Command Control
Located by the captains navigation terminal are various features, including:
  • Backup battery array, when switched on automatically produces power to the submarine when the reactor is off or not producing enough power, can be switched off and the charge rate adjusted if needing to recharge batteries fast.
  • Reactor lock-off for turning the reactor off and locks it so it cannot be turned on at the reactor control panel, good for when you need to save fuel and have parked the submarine on a surface ready to do some exploring outside of the submarine.
  • Timer/Clock for keeping track of time, has a pause switch and a reset button.
  • Information display at captains terminal, includes useful information like fuel amount and battery charge as well as useless information alike.
  • Mineral Sonar for easier farming.


Moonpool
A moonpool is located on the underside of ship for quick and easy access in and out of the submarine, and looks very nices, also included in the moonpool are some storage containers so you can easily loot wrecked subs and mine caves faster.


Isolation Unit
Isolation room for locking idiots and friends in or just dirty ol' clowns.


Computer Terminal
  • Easy custom lights the computer terminal allows you to input custom RGBA codes to change the entire subs lighting at once, also comes with a few presets. It's a great feature for if you want to set the feel of the sub to something more your style quick and easy.
  • Different door modes Hate auto doors? or just want a door that closes but has to be manually opened? This feature is great for setting the doors on the submarine to something more your playstyle with different modes you can turn on and off via the terminal.
  • Custom text displays above the cabinets in storage area that you can change via the terminal, to help organise your items and your crew.


Other Features
  • Fully automatic reactor which includes a kill switch in the command area and a lever to switch the ARC on and off.
  • Smart doors, can be fully automated or completely manual, comes with water detectors to prevent unnecessary flooding.
  • Each ballast has an individual lever for draining that ballast of water for easy removal of ballast flora while still leaving the submarine functional and able to move.
  • Battery charging docks near the airlocks to quickly recharge your gear when you get back from trips outside the submarine.
  • Working submarine, yes it works, very cool.
  • Includes a medusa styled respawn shuttle.
  • And much more :)

There are many good class 6

Only some are built unnecessarily large, and are then more suitable for multiplayer, because in single player having more than one who does mechanics and electrics doesn't do much with bots because everyone then always runs to the next problem and rarely splits up until one is working where.

I know better class 6, I don't like it when there is only big turret as Primär, because there are only 3 turrets for big ones and railgun has too little ammo and wastes ammo on weak enemies and is too cumbersome to fill up even with Storage nearby and a bot that would reload which you unfortunately need extra and unfortunately does other things where you don't need one, flak is too slow and dual coilgun is sometimes too weak against something bigger.

Good for me with large ships, that do not exaggerate the size, primarily use small turrets, and large well set as support and not as a primary weapon.

Best sub on the workshop, finding a T3 replacement is impossible.

The modder last played something at the end of 2024. / No idea what's up.

With that, so it's best to use the editor in the game and open the submarine, customize what doesn't fit, and save it with a name addition to recognize which submarine is the customized one.

If you already have the submarine then you can use as low a price as possible to just replace it.

this sub works fine, didnt know people were having problems. one of the few subs that has no hiccups with AI me and my friends are just about to get another sub after this one carried the game for us.

The mod system also allows level 3 in shuttle size with price over 40'000 so no fixed values which submarine must or may be what.

As there are many level 3 submarines that cost less than 10,000 to launch.

And oddities level 1 and 2 that cost over 40'000, but are just standard submarines where the description doesn't even say that it would be Deep Diver, so it doesn't even have to be outdated, so it has the things that it has as Deep Diver still existed for this class was normal and the original classes but lacked.

There is also a multiplayer submarine that has multiple drones , no turrets , so not usable for single player , bots can't control drones , and it has no magnetic net to carry the drones nearby so it doesn't even do any good to put bots on these weapons as only players can move them.

Wiring things in the running game is probably locked for multiplayer.

Because of the stupid traitor system that makes no real sense if there is no rescue system.

Also, mod submarines are not as easily wired as the original submarines often have things in the hull that are hard or impossible to get to in the running game, so if someone disconnects something you can't get it back.

Deep divers are divided into levels either by size or amount of parts, and then set as a class according to weapons and speed and cargo storage, i only know that deep divers have already become every class and levels.

The only thing you would have to change is the description if level and class fit scout. / Otherwise would have to change the description in Mod, and specify class and level when saving.

This is a 2022 submarine it is EXTREMELY outdated. Deep Diver is not a thing anymore, the ducts are set to non interactable and a ton of other issues. You either need to make your own custom version of this but trying to run it in 2024 just leads to problems.
