Distant Ores

Description
Distant Ores creates a playstyle that forces players to explore more of the planet they are on and to give players a reason to travel to other planets.

(Please be aware... this mod may conflict with other mods that alter vanilla planets via xml edits. Mod order may help or it may not.)

Ore Changes:
> Each planet's ore deposits are farther apart, thereby reducing the number of deposits on each planet.
> Each ore deposit contains a greater amount of ore.
> Some ores are located much deeper than normal vanilla depths.
> Ores have been redistributed amongst the planets... meaning some planets will have ores that other planets do not have.

Ore Distribution:
> Earthlike.....Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Cobalt
> Triton..........Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Cobalt
> Pertam.......Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Cobalt
> Moon..........Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Silver | Gold
> Mars...........Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Platinum
> Europa.......Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Magnesium | Silver | Gold
> Alien...........Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Uranium
> Titan...........Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Magnesium | Silver | Gold
> Asteroids....Iron | Nickel | Silicon | Silver

The ore map for Distant Ores was generated by Lemmiwinks' awesome program called Procedurally Generated Ore . You can go to Lemmiwinks for the download link.

Distant Ores is heavily inspired by AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution with a spinkle of DeepOres! The main difference is that Distance Ores uses a custom ore map to increase the distances between each ore deposit, while the others use the vanilla ore map. You'll also find that ore deposits are now in totally different locations.

Notes:
- To find the deeper ores, you'll want find and use one of the many ore detector mods available on the workshop.
- Earthlike planet is probably the easiest starting point, but with economy turned on, you could start anywhere.

Try out

Then Remove Ore Detectors entirely.

The Ore Detectors as they are can be resource heavy. Boosting range makes it worse.

is a great option but

Hey Physige,
I am currently using Ore Detector Reforged and it's Companion Mod which limits the search range.

Hey! I was interested in using this for my next playthrough. You mentioned getting an Ore detector mod. Are there any specific ore detector mods do you recommend?

If you want use Bush Be Gone and Distant Ores together, you'll want use "Bush Be Gone with Distant Ores" instead. As seperate mods, one will overwrite the other.

The ore depths and are similar to AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution. Magnesium is only on Europa and Titan... each planet's ore types is the same as that of AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution.
The main difference is that ore deposite location are now completely different than the Vanilla locations and farther apart.

Looks like a greate combination of features, a few questions:
How deep are these ores, deeper then in AQD - Vanilla Ore Distribution? And is there no magnesium on earth or pertam? What about the boulders on the surface?
