Straight from 2007, the Dustbowl Dirt Digger is a reimagining of the first hat ever added to the game.

Hardhat001 is a notoroius prop featured on maps such as Dustbowl, Goldrush, and Gravelpit. Despite technically being the first “hat” created for TF2, it has been nothing more than a simple map prop.

For nearly 15 years, the this item remained off limits to the unused real estate above our heads... until now.
