Description
Age of War 4: Mod has been "updated" and mostly functions. HOWEVER, consider it abandoned for the time being (technical & time limitations on my front). It does cause terrain issues around the Ruins of al Marayah, but deleting the mod should fix that without deleting existing (tamed) pets. Other than this terrain issue, it should still function correctly, so if the ruins aren't important to you or you want to tame the pets legitimately, you can install, acquire baby animals, uninstall later and it shouldn't (!) cause problems.

Adds a selection of Isle of Siptah baby animals to spawn points in the Exiled Lands. Includes regular and all named Feral and Playful Pup spawns, Aardwolf Cubs, Antediluvian Elephant Calf, both Siptah Rhinoceros Calves, Crested Lacerta Hatchlings, Island Lynx Cubs, Jungleclaw Cubs, Mountain Lion Cub, and Turtle Hatchlings. Does NOT include pets that begin as inventory items: Siptah Pelican Chicks, Shaggai Larvae or Yakiths.

This is a NEW mod, so please let me know if you run into any bugs or issues.

Q: Where do I find ___?
A: See the images and video provided. They're spread out in singular spawnpoints, so they're still very rare--you will need to seek them out, and they shouldn't change the 'feel' of the Exiled Lands map. I've put them in areas where they seem to fit/make sense. Short version: Playful/Feral pups will be found in Dogs of the Desert and Black Hand camps; Tor and Sigrid in New Asagarth. Turtles are on the northeastern coast, Jungleclaw Cubs at the Beast Tamer's camp north of the Bay, Aardwolves on the coast beneath the lower arm of Dagon's Embrace, Lacertas along the river inland from there near a shipwreck, Lynx to the right of the end of the Ruins of Xullah bridge, Mountain Lions on the hill just south of Circle of Swords, and Elephant and Rhino calves in the Eastern and Western savannahs, respectively.

Q: Do I need the Isle of Siptah expansion to see them?
A: No.

Q: If you don't need it, isn't that against the rules?
A: No. When Funcom has assets that it wants restricted (ex. all other DLC pets, build items, etc.), they cannot be accessed via the modkit. These are readily accessible. Players can also use Admin Spawn to spawn these animals in.

Q: I went to the location in the video/screenshots, and I can't find the pet!
A: Did someone build in the area? If so, NPCs may not spawn while the structures remain. (I have done my best to place them in mostly non-buildable areas.) Is the area altered by another mod? It's possible it changed the terrain around the spawn and interfered. Otherwise, have a look around or come back later; the pets do tend to wander. Respawn timer if they are killed or picked up is the default: 15 minutes.

@Wolfman Hey, I may come back to it but for now it is best to consider it abandoned--I had to uninstall the devkit for space reasons and I need a new PC. Hardware- and time-limitations aside, as far as I'm aware the pets work okay (the person below I SUSPECT didn't use the right taming food for a Feral Pup?), so it should be safe to install, tame pets, and uninstall if needed. That being said in this case you could simply admin spawn them. I'm aware that's not a great answer--it's only a workaround, and I apologize for not being able to fix it right now, but it's been so long since I played Conan or used the DevKit that I honestly can't remember how I edited spawnpoints. so it'd be a big time investment of re-learning it.

This mod is great. Is there a way to change the Koji (Playful Pup Variant D) spawn? I believe it is causing the entire bottom of Al-Merayah castle to despawn.

Oh man did they change how taming works?? I don't play Conan anymore at all but (ugh) I'll see when I can get onto the devkit to look it over, thank you.

Seems like the Mod doesnt work with the newest Update. THe taming progress for the puppies wont start.

@Athoen I assume mod changes map itself, due to editing spawn points. When map changed Kurak dungeon teleport stop working and seems like sacred hunt event also screwed (cave not accesable). It's something on Funcom side.

EDIT for ma previous message : this mods also affects the area with the sacred hunt NPCs making the master of the hunt .... well hidden beyond a rock.

Hello. Thanks for your mod, I love it but I found a side-effect : this mod affects Al-Merayah and makes the cave under it blocked and unplayable (the cave for Scraek Gore-Grin, from the Sacred Hunt event).

Updated again for Sacred Hunt, etc, Age of War Chapter 4. Hopefully it works. If not, yell at me; you can always disable it meanwhile (it will NOT delete existing tamed pets).
