Description

Railway 2 is a brand new network package which is packed with numerous new features, while maintaining the existing features of original Railway 1 project. It also brings new types of networks such as quads and mainlines. Check Railway 2 Guide in the collection, linked above.

Railway 2 DYNAMIC update brings in-game procedural junctions and lane based superelevation for train tracks first time ever to Cities: Skylines, thanks to the team behind Adaptive Networks and Traffic President mods.

- This package contains the following networks: 2 lane and 4 lane mainlines.
- All networks now have the ability to disable overhead wiring system with Adaptive Networks.
- All networks now have the ability to customize the overhead system; you can add transmission lines, remove catenaries, or change catenary support type.
- All networks feature all elevation types.
- All networks support superelevation (or cant angle).
- TMPE and Adaptive Network mods are hard dependence of this network package.

JANUARY 29 UPDATE:

- Added 'New Haven' Gantry system, in order to support new triangular New Haven wire type.
- Transmission Wires have their custom groups for futureproofing. This made Network Anarchy required mod, if you want to drag these networks; it should be enabled at all times.
- Added sleeper customization per lane; supports American NEC Concrete and Wooden sleepers.

Textures and materials are re-cycled from R2 USA release, therefore there's no additionnal RAM load.

I read your original comment again. There has been no update for replacer since R2, I didnt update prop packs either, so it's not possible that they are missing from the game due to a broken update. That leaves us bunch of possibilites:
- Skyve (if you're using it), or somehow these catenary packs became disabled in content manager and thus they dont appear in the game.
- Steam has an issue

I would suggest unsub-then-resub the catenary packs and ensure they're being downloaded on Steam client (you can check if they're downloaded by opening the client and check download activity

Verify them in content manager in-game menu; search "r2-" prefix, you should be able to see them

Verify in-game by using find-it, and search them by r2- prefix again

Let me know how it goes

@REVO I don't think so. I still have the R2 base props and the standard catenary assets. I recently deleted and reacquired everything to see if somehow my CS installation got messed up from an update, but if there's any troubleshooting stepsor logs I can provide, let me know.

Are you skipping vanilla props by any chance ?

I'm running into a problem with the most recent update that many of the R2 catenary assets (dynamic and older) are now broken. I can only get Amtrak/PRR towers to work (4-track and 2-track) and 4-track portal assets. Most 2-track assets, any New Haven assets, and most of the original R2 catenary assets don't show up in Railway Replacer, Network Skins, or the Adaptive Networks menus for the assets. I've tried verifying all my game assets but can't figure out if there's a way to troubleshoot this or if it's a compatibility issue to the latest Cities Skylines update.

Ok thanks, ill play around with them

Since everything is lane based on these networks, embankments on outer edges and transmission wires have their own custom lane, that might explain it

Great update! only reason for me to still have the wooden mainline subbed now is for the single track, I did notice that with node controller there are 4 points per side in a 2x2 layout off the edge of the tracks, any explanation to what those are? They didn't seem to effect anything.
