SCT-44 MK.II | Single Crew Tank

Description
Background

The SCT-44 is mainly based off the T-100 Black Eagle but built as a Singular Crewed Tank instead. It's purpose is to be quick at intercepting or moving into the battlefield, so a smaller crew allows for quick deployment. Powered by a Gas Turbine for increased Torque and overall speed (55 - 60mph), tuned to be fuel efficient for short, quick travels. Auto-loaded and default equipped with an auto-loaded 120mm cannon and Incendiary/AP 7.62 Machine Gun Rounds. The Tank has upgrades in mind so room is available for future systems until a new model is required. The main model is in green to suite the forest area it fights in, however can easily have camo changes to suite whatever environmental needs.

Notes

If you have any problems or recommended upgrades then please tell me in the comments below.

Tbh I originally made this tank because I was tired of finding tanks that were multi-crewed when playing singleplayer, I didn't have much intention of uploading this but as I got more interested in tanks and kept adding stuff onto it, I eventually came to the conclusion of making a release version.

My next project might not come for some time but I'm going to attempt to make a Tank gun Range as well as either a Tank Inspired by the British Challenger or from Warhammer 40K.

!Do not reupload any variants of my creation without my permission!
!Love you all and enjoy!

Glad you figured it out and good look with your tank

My tank is just for private use. It doesn't look super fancy or have a deployable targeting screen straight out of a star wars Xwing. It is big though, and practically immune to battle cannon AP from the front. I think I did find the source of the track binding and turret locking though. Seems horizontal movement conflicts with the subgrid the battle cannon is on. I noticed during a neutral steer rotation the gun started to twitch left and right and started to merge itself a little into the turret opposite of the direction I was trying to turn.

Little Update, there is a new Tank Microcontroller on the front page of the workshop which might solve your problem

I think I had the same issue for a while but I think I overcame it using certain thresholds but I can't exactly remember. If it helps you can look into my Tank's steering micro-controller or if you want you can use it as long as you credit me :)

Playing with this inspired me to build my own tank, and after doing so I have some questions. My tank is neutral steer but the tracks bind up randomly when turning then suddenly release their stored up energy leading to my steering being unpredictable. Second issue I'm having is my turret will also bind and lock up randomly. I've looked for any snag points between the turret and hull but I couldn't find any. Did you ever run into the same issues?
