Glad you figured it out and good look with your tank

My tank is just for private use. It doesn't look super fancy or have a deployable targeting screen straight out of a star wars Xwing. It is big though, and practically immune to battle cannon AP from the front. I think I did find the source of the track binding and turret locking though. Seems horizontal movement conflicts with the subgrid the battle cannon is on. I noticed during a neutral steer rotation the gun started to twitch left and right and started to merge itself a little into the turret opposite of the direction I was trying to turn.

Little Update, there is a new Tank Microcontroller on the front page of the workshop which might solve your problem

I think I had the same issue for a while but I think I overcame it using certain thresholds but I can't exactly remember. If it helps you can look into my Tank's steering micro-controller or if you want you can use it as long as you credit me :)

Playing with this inspired me to build my own tank, and after doing so I have some questions. My tank is neutral steer but the tracks bind up randomly when turning then suddenly release their stored up energy leading to my steering being unpredictable. Second issue I'm having is my turret will also bind and lock up randomly. I've looked for any snag points between the turret and hull but I couldn't find any. Did you ever run into the same issues?
