Description
Load Order
-Genesis
-XLStorageVanilla (no dependencies)
-XL Outposts (Dependencies: XLStorageVanilla)
-XLgenesisPatch (Dependencies: XLStorageVanillia, XL Outposts, Genesis)



-Makes all the new non-hostile races playable, such as the Hive Praetorians, Ripper Drones, and all the new skeletons. You should be able to select them when you start a new game now.
-Added the new skeletons as a rare option in the skeleton recruitment list.
-Added Hive Praetorians and Ripper drones to the Adventurer's Guild as a recruit delivery option. Like the rare skeleton recruitment option, you should expect to pay a pretty penny for rare Hivers.
-Updates vendor lists of XL Outposts and XLStorageVanilla to carry the new armor and weapons from Genesis.
-Readded the Scrap forge, it was missing in the more recent versions of Genesis for some reason. I also added some conversion options for solid fuel and scrap refinement.
-Added some Genesis assets to game starts. Weapons, armor, races, ect..
-Fixed the cosmetic clipping issues with buildings near the Offshore Manor.
-Hazard Hivers now have Praetorians for their "Heavy" units, the overall squad size has been reduced to balance this.
-Added an additional game start
-Added additional hazard devices for the belt slot, Tiers I-V can be acquired through blueprints carried by U.M.L. vendors. Tiers VI-X blueprints are drops from Kenshi unique NPCs.
-Added Diesel Generators that burn oil instead of fuel. Provides less power than normal generators.

-Lone Praetorian. Solo Hive Praetorian start, your character is mute so you can't expand your squad beyond the 1 Hive Praetorian you start with or interact with NPCs. You start with master crafted armor and weapons, but there's a catch. You'll find it's hard to keep a Praetorian fed due to its insane base racial hunger rate, which increases even more when overburdened or doing hard labor. Being unable to use vendors to buy food or add squadmates you will likely starve.

Genesis's July 5th update created problems with neutral factions. Namely with major factions randomly murdering neutral factions. I've yet to figure out on how to fix this even after digging through the FCS to see what broke. So if you see U.M.L. fighting with the UC or the Shek Kingdom it's 100% not my fault as the same problem happens with Genesis's own neutral factions (I've watched the UC murder mercenaries inside the bar and the Holy Nation kill settlers).

Anyhow since I'm at a loss on how to fix this I'm discontinuing this compatibility patch.

No idea why but the dialogue package in the FCS is broken with the latest Genesis update. I managed to fix the issue by attaching a duplicated dialogue to the mercenary captains alongside the dialogue package. The fix is rolled out on the base XLvanilia mod, so unsub and resub to that mod to force an update. Let me know if there's any merc captains in the XLgenesis mod that weren't fixed by the XLvanilla's update.

Far as I can tell Atlas changed dialogue options, I'll have to monkey around with the dialogue to figure out what he did.

Haven't played in a few months and just started up a new game looking to check out all the new updates Genesis got. All the UML merc captains have no dialogue bubble, I can't speak to them to hire them. I can talk to the diplomat and call for mercs to guard my base, I can buy stuff from the supply guys that are part of the merc groups, I just can't hire any of the ones at the bars. I tested my load order to see if any other mods might have caused it, but after I disabled genesis and the XL genesis patch, all the dialogue worked just fine so it appears to be something recent that Atlas has done with genesis.
