About what you reply to me : It's true that when placing again the orange portal, it's not in the same direction... But I suppose I now understand what was muddling my mind. It is that if the blue portal is looking north, then the orange one is looking south, so I would have expected to look north before entering the blue portal, but looking south after coming out of the orange one, except we're actually still looking north. Can't explain in detail here due to the character limit, but I would say it's either a bug, a mistake, or purposely done like that to make it easier to apprehend for players.
@Azkunki: Thanks for your comment too. You just need to spot the place where you fall and reverse the direction of the portal ;)

I even did it the expected way by using the very portal I placed after trying "my own way". Even so, according to my tests, it doesn't seem to be due to the first orange portal I place either.
