Node Tool

Description
Changes the height of track or street nodes.

An optimizing tool for
- butt joints
- transition joints
- end nodes
- connection curves
- junctions/switches
- intersections/crossovers
- level crossings
Mark the node with the 'Marker Node', selectable at the 'Assets' menu in the 'Tools' category. Then choose the Node Tool (yellow dot with gray intersection icon) also located there and click on the node to be raised or lowered. As an additional option, there is also the possibility of 'flattening' butt joints and end nodes, i.e. setting the inclination of the adjacent segments to zero. In this way, routes and especially bridges can be straightened vertically.

Important notes:

- The mod 'Marker Node' from Version 1.3 (preferably from 1.7) must be installed.
- Special information on the individual settings is available as tooltips in the 'Assets' 'Settings' dialog: Simply touch the corresponding elements with the mouse cursor!
- Nodes within constructions (stations, rigid segments or switches) cannot be edited.
- If necessary, additional nodes within a segment can be created by splitting it with a splitter tool.
- Use at streets in built-up areas leads to the destruction of the adjacent AI development.
- Apart from the 'Flatten' option, the inclination of adjacent segments cannot be changed with this tool. This means that bumps can occur, especially with larger height changes. These can be eliminated with the 'Ramp Equalizer' mod.
- This mod can also be used to achieve very curious results. There is no undo function. You should know what you are doing! ;-)
- If 'Auto-delete marker' is deactivated, the height can be changed in steps without setting the marker again.
- The message 'Too much slope' can be skipped by switching off 'Check collision and limits'. However, it does mean that a potentially problematic inclination will actually occur.
- The integrated information panel offers a control option. In addition, the mod 'Info-Tool' is recommended. The position of the nodes can be shown in the debug mode of the game by pressing [ALT GR] + [L].
- To avoid conflicts with the AI and to speed up processing, it is advisable to only carry out construction work in pause mode.
- The mod does not contain its own tracks or streets and can easily be removed again.

Known Issues:

- The markers and the info panel remain active when selecting assets such as the eraser or groups of trees sending no feedback when toggled.
- Level crossings appear at the end of the process in the vanilla version of the respective era. Modifications have to be restored manually.

@BoyPro: Where exactly does it not work? I don't know what you expect that it is good for ... It only sets the inclination at all sides of a NODE to zero. At intersections you won't notice any difference because the game does, too. At nodes between only two segments you should see something. If you don't I need further information.

so like 99% of the mod

we need a mod like TM:PE from Cities Skylines (Specifically the speed limit changer, intersection rule changer, timed traffic light, and lane connecter/arrow changer)

@WernerK "move it" is a mod for Cities Skylines. It allows to move any node in the network (street/rail and even buildings). It's amazing for beauty builds as you can fine tune every element in all directions incl. rotation.

@Enzojz: Perhaps we could talk about details on transportfever.net . I think this here is more the place for common user questions.

You could introduce a mark called destionation, then just move the node to destionation, which could be much more easier than the current way to operation.

@Enzojz: No problem. :steamhappy: Perhaps you could include an interface for my marker system - or you control it by the footer area like some of your tools.
