Description
Never miss that particular ore you're searching for ever again
Ore spawns are roughly 5x more frequent with default settings. Ores that are effected are listed below. The mod is only triggered on world creation. Only copper spawns in a copper world, likewise tin only spawns in a world with tin.

Effected Ores
All vanilla pre-hardmode ores and gems

Killing the Wall of Flesh will now spawn a ton of hardmode ores everywhere. The hardmode ores will always be cobalt, mythril and titanium.

Killing the Moon Lord will spawn bits of luminite ore spread across the underground.

Config Explained
- Killing Moon Lord Spawns Luminite Ore (spawns small bits of luminite everywhere after killing moonlord)
- Fast Chlorophyte (chlorophyte will spread 8x the normal rate)
- Near Surface (ores will spawn near surface)
- Not Only Replace But Add (ores will be placed in empty tiles)
- No Y Change (have not tested but here for you to experiment)
- Override (I think this makes it so ores replace existing tiles)
- Speed X (have not tested but here for you to experiment)
- Speed Y (have not tested but here for you to experiment)
- Additional Strength (increases the size of ore clusters)
- Additional Steps (like strength but different!)
- All Ore and Gem Bias (changes how much a particular ore or gem spawns)

FAQ
Q: Does not seem like any additional ores are spawning?
A: The default values have been set to be intentionally super low for immersion, increase them, and you will see more ores.

Q: How do I disable the additional generation this mod adds for a specific ore?
A: Set the config bias for that ore to zero.

Q: I have increased ore spawns mid-playthrough and there are still the same amount of ores?
A: Pre-hardmode ore generation is only triggered on world creation.

could you please add settings to the mod to control how much Luminite is spawned underground when Moonlord is defeated? your mod is currently the only one that provides this functionality outside of Calamity, and the default spawns so little ore, it's basically pointless.

@AgentGerald5126 The default config values use to be at extreme values like 10, 15, 20. I've now set them to more immersive values by setting only silver, iron and gold to 1, 1, 1. Crimtane, gems, hardmode ores are now all set to 0 by default. Here's the entire list of changes:

Silver: 10 -> 1
Iron: 15 -> 1
Gold: 20 -> 1
Crimtane: 3 -> 0
Cobalt: 15 -> 0
Mythril: 15 -> 0
Titanium: 15 -> 0
Diamond: 3 -> 0
Ruby: 3 -> 0
Emerald: 3 -> 0
Sapphire: 3 -> 0
Topaz: 3 -> 0
Amethyst: 3 -> 0

Old values are on the left, new values on the right. You can change these config values yourself in-game (do it before you generate a world).

I may increase the default values in the future if I find in my playthroughs I'm not finding enough ores.

question i have used this mod before n like what others say it does spawn alot more ore, but currently when me n my friends try to use it, the ore spawn is a lil less than we remember did anything change or do you think its a mod conflict?

Just to clear up some confusion, having a value of 1 for any of the ore bias's will add additional ores. You would need to set the config value to 0 to disable adding any additional ores.

just a not on my comment i had fargo's best of both worlds which has a ore multi config it was set to 1 i dont know if that is like 1x more or 1x is default ore so i could have stacked both mods

the default settings are crazy i made a small world and went down and i find more than stone really wish i knew this sooner other than that amazing mod and once configed works amazingly

all hardmode ores spawn as soon as you kill wof.
sucks, because getting ores in the early game is one of my least favourite things about terraria, so this mod really helps in that regard

if i set all ore spawns to one, will that be the vanila amount of ore chunks ? i just want larger ore chunks and not bigger ones
