could you please add settings to the mod to control how much Luminite is spawned underground when Moonlord is defeated? your mod is currently the only one that provides this functionality outside of Calamity, and the default spawns so little ore, it's basically pointless.

@AgentGerald5126 The default config values use to be at extreme values like 10, 15, 20. I've now set them to more immersive values by setting only silver, iron and gold to 1, 1, 1. Crimtane, gems, hardmode ores are now all set to 0 by default. Here's the entire list of changes:

Cobalt: 15 -> 0
Mythril: 15 -> 0

Ruby: 3 -> 0
Emerald: 3 -> 0
Sapphire: 3 -> 0
Topaz: 3 -> 0
Amethyst: 3 -> 0

Old values are on the left, new values on the right. You can change these config values yourself in-game (do it before you generate a world).

I may increase the default values in the future if I find in my playthroughs I'm not finding enough ores.

question i have used this mod before n like what others say it does spawn alot more ore, but currently when me n my friends try to use it, the ore spawn is a lil less than we remember did anything change or do you think its a mod conflict?

Just to clear up some confusion, having a value of 1 for any of the ore bias's will add additional ores. You would need to set the config value to 0 to disable adding any additional ores.

just a not on my comment i had fargo's best of both worlds which has a ore multi config it was set to 1 i dont know if that is like 1x more or 1x is default ore so i could have stacked both mods

the default settings are crazy i made a small world and went down and i find more than stone really wish i knew this sooner other than that amazing mod and once configed works amazingly

sucks, because getting ores in the early game is one of my least favourite things about terraria, so this mod really helps in that regard

if i set all ore spawns to one, will that be the vanila amount of ore chunks ? i just want larger ore chunks and not bigger ones

about a year ago or so i had default configs on for everything and ores roughly spawned like 2-3x more frequently, now when i use it with default configs its like 10x ores, what settings would be roughly 2x and is there a way to disable both types of ores from spawning at the same time? alongside that is there a way to disable all hardmode ores from spawning at the same time? had mythril/orichalcum/adamantite/titanium all spawn after killing WOF in calamity playthrough, and after testing without plentiful ores, only cobalt/palladium spawned as intended, imgur link to world creation with default settings vs not having the mod

@Haiden Even small adjustments to the config can lead to drastic changes like you've noticed. I would recommend resetting the config to its default values and experimenting with smaller adjustments. Unfortunately I have not played with the mod recently so I can't tell you what would be a good value for each setting so you'll just have to do trial and error.

@Okarun Most likely conflicting with another mod from your mod list. Try disabling half your mods and try again. Try generating a world with only Plentiful Ores mod enabled.

@Woly You you will need to create a new world with the mod pre-enabled if you want the extra pre-hardmode ores to generate.

I've pushed out a very tiny update.
- The speed config options are now integers instead of floats so you can actually experiment with useful values instead of being restricted to just values between 0 and 1
- Hovering over each config option shows a popup tooltip explaining what it does

@Kyntosis I don't know how to fix this lol. POV: Install plentiful ores mod and enable faster chlorophyte option. Jungle turns into chloro central.

@scary fish I would have to do a Calamity playthrough with someone to figure out which ores I would need to spawn and any other features that might be added. If I ever do do this, hopefully the code to implement this isn't too hard...

@Arttoldo This is a good question, I don't know the answer to this and I wish I could tell you. Actually I think if you set the biases to 2 then that should double it I think?

@tutu The mod only does its thing during world generation, so if you installed mid-game, the main ore gens would not take in effect but the other options like killing the moonlord spawning luminite or entering hardmode activating hard mode ores would still work

Hey theres a bug in your thing that made titanium and mythril ores spawn in my above ground house and also made hardmode ores indestructible and instantly appear in my world and i couldnt do shit until I disabled the mod please fix it

it adds a ton of ore only issue is Chlorophyte blocking the god damn jungle off only use this if you have had in the past hard time finding ore because you will get more then what you asked for

hey guys before you install this mod I recommend turning off the fast chlorophyte in the mod config. It ruined my entire jungle.

Currently bugged, yes. It's only on the first generation of a crimson world on launch. So just delete the first crimson world generated and then you'll be good afterward.

Use WorldGen Previewer, you'll be able to see how much ore is in the world and can change the settings to your liking based on what you see.
TIP: When previewing worldgen, click on one of the worldgen steps on the right and it will pause at that step, so you can get a good look around.
