Description
This submarine for me is a realization of what i have always wanted to build in Stormworks from the day I first bought the game. As that im never really planning on stopping work on it at least not for a while. However the submarine is ready enough now that i feel comfortable posting it in its current state. I will be constantly uploading new updates to the Submarine giving it new features and fixing issues. I hope that you as the subscriber will send feedback if you have it because I really want to make this sub as good as it can be. I have used all of my skills and some that i had to acquire just for this project to create the best submarine for anything underwater. The submarine has a more modern theme and is designed for 1-4 players to control it.

All systems on this submarine were created by XS Logic Co. as well as all subassemblies. The Sub serves as a flagship for new advanced submarine control systems.

Subassemblies
-Airlock
The airlock uses a tank to balance pressure meaning it can work at all depths.
The airlock also has integrated LUA displays.
-Torpedos
The torpedoes are VERY basic but functional
-Steam Engines
These took many weeks to develop and balance for submarine use.
-Sonar Decoys
Deploy and make loud noises to distract sonar missiles.
-Escape Pods
Rocket propelled pods that bring players up to the surface in an emergency.
-Auto stealing doors
Custom doors that seal to block off water in a flood event.

Systems
-Main Engine
This is the first XS system which uses advanced logic to control each engine.
-Air Exhaust display
This system helps manage air while diving and estimates the remaining time.
-Main LIDAR
A compass and roll stabilized lidar plotting GPS coords with high read rates.
-Belly Proximity LIADR
Scans the seafloor beneath the ship showing the slope and distance.
-Navigation system
A GPS autopilot with the ability to chart whole courses in a set.
-Advanced Depth Hold OS
A multipurpose system for active/passive depth hold + ballast control.
-Radio Scanner
Scans and lists nearby channels if they are being used click to connect to channels.
-Light controller
Creates smooth light transitions for alarms and dark mode.
Hosts the central info and alert screens for the submarine.
-Alarm System
Identifies and transmits alarms around the vehicle.
-Dark controller
Automatically transitions the sub to dark mode at night (OPTIONAL)
-Error Displays
Creates cinematic error messages when microcontrollers are destroyed.
-Zone based heating
Ensures all crew zones are heated

Vehicle systems
-Intercom
-Radar detector
-Fire suppression system
-Bilge storage and disposal system
-Cargo lift and hatch
-Refuelable coal hoppers
-6 cameras for driving

Rooms
-Logic Closet

How to - "get it moving"
-refer to the engine controls
1. turn keys for all three engines
2. wait for the boilers to heat and the pressure to rise
3. set all three engines throttles to max
4. engage all three engine clutches
- refer to the center console
5. enable the lever for "Main clutch"
6. slowly engage the main clutch until the sub has begun to move

Bonus!

How to- "navigate automatically"
1. get it moving
- refer to the navigation display with a map on it (YAW)
2. press "draw" button on the display
3. zoom out via the throttle alongside the screen
4. press anywhere on the display to plot a line in the direction you wish to travel in
5. once the line has been plotted, press the "draw" button again to go to free view mode
-(PITCH)
6. ensure air tanks are filled to desired 50% or more
- refer to depth hold display
7. navigate to the ballast section of the screen
8. set the ballast to "neutral"
-IF MOVING
9. navigate to the "passive - DH" screen
10. enable the passive DH
11. hold "DIVE" until the conning tower submerges
-IF NOT MOVING
12. navigate to the "active - DH" screen
12. enable the active depth hold
- NOTE you may need to already be submerged for the active DH to work properly.
