Version 2.0.1

The King, the Noble or the Poor - all are equal in the face of their inevitable demise. However, the burial traditions and the departure ritual are different and those who were offered more in life or after have higher odds of reaching the eternal peace. So are what citizen of Empire believe, as well as what the Tome of Light tells - the main source of teaching of Church and written words of Goddess Herself.

The burial grouds are where Empire puts their dead to the rest. They have little combat or strategic value for any side in the war, but from time to time these crypts get visited by common folks for sentimental reasons. To prevent desecration of any kind, rulers of Empire strictly forbid the living from bringing offerings of gold again and assigned special templars to guard the tombs from practitioners of black or dark magic. Servants of Church would also regularly come and bless both living and recently passed ones as the part of their own service. Truly a sanctuary and place of Light and Order for everyone.

The burial grounds have their patrols shifted every ten cycle and Grave Keeper provides Church of Light with annual report of state of things according the schedule. When everything in place and undisturbed, the fresh squad of troops replace the previous team and the cycle begins anew. But when something bad happens, with burial grounds it can quickly turn into worse. Something very much worse. Places like this unfortunately don't stay abandonded for too long.

We sent investigation troops few times along with special peacekeeper guards from temple there but none had returned back so far. Another warning sign is the area you will have to visit contains an active Spirit Crystal without any regulation. As you know, this one wards off abominations of chaos but also does contain powerful raw energy. Should something potentially sinister decide to tamper with it in any possible way, the damage may be done to everything without any redemption. Since Grave Keeper himself is no longer responding to our call, we are certain something very terrible had happen or someone else is now in charge. Someone who might not be the follower of our Church or Goddess.

You, Overseer Mortis, are hereby assigned to travel to Burial Grounds and contact our Watcher who'll be expecting you. He might have more information about what's going on there and news about Spirit Crystal or The Grave Keeper. The Cult Master had specifically chosen you for this task as he ensured us that you fit the most due to your natural attunement and experience with supernatural powers. I put my trust in you, since I'm certain no other citizen of surface can handle this ordeal on their own anymore. This matter requires our interference and we send you as our Warrior of Order. May the Light of Goddess illuminate your path to truth.

If you play on Zen Mode, manually disable some Boss Units as they take too much of income rate and prevent other units from coming. Try to keep only one boss attraction active. Click on the middle area of the portal and then on Boss Portrait in order to enable or disable it's attraction.

got a crash on this map might be from me building augmented walls in front of my portcullis to lock me in but sending in a ticket just in case

Updated to 2.0.1

Fixed a impenetrable rock bug in one of empire's rooms.

Please report this kind of bug if you notice it. Do note that if you get it after loading a save, then it's save / load related bug which should be ticketed. I can not fix that kind of issue on my end, only the messed up tiles upon the start of the map.

If you use Zen Mode, it will add Bosses to the pool of units. They take too much space so if you want units, disable some of them and then normal units should flow in.

The Overworld Gateway you start with doesn't spawn any minions - have I just missed something or is this a bug?

Crypt bridges are near the boss crypts. Capture at least one tile near it and shield will be removed. It is required for the game's objective of capturing all 8 boss crypts before path to center gets revealed.

There are tethered bosses and their guardians who are naturally immune to damage. To remove the shield, you need to capture crypt bridge which will count towards the objective and have their shields removed.

Maybe it is just me not knowing how to deal with the "tethered invincible enemies," but us there a way to eliminate the tethers so I can actually kill these guys? My minions just get stuck trying to kill them and then I wonder if I'm just missing something I need to destroy to make them vulnerable. Any direction would be lovely.
