Description
My version of the famous Boeing B-29 Superfortress named Enola Gay that dropped the nuclear bomb over Hiroshima.

It's an approximation, not a 1:1 replica.

The B-29 had a rather large crew of 11: Pilot, Co-pilot, Bombardier, Flight Engineer, Navigator, Radio Operator, Radar Observer, Right Gunner, Left Gunner, Central Fire Control, and Tail Gunner. All 11 corresponding seats are in the plane.

This is the "Silverplate" version of the plane used for dropping the nuclear bombs over Japan. All armour plating was removed and only the tail turret remains to save weight. It also carries extra fuel in the rear bomb bay.

Enola Gay carries a payload consisting of 1 Little Boy nuclear bomb in the front bomb bay.

Alt controls to fly.

W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right Arrow: Roll.
X/Disable steering: Landing gear. *
Hold X/Reverse steering: Bomb bay doors.
Fire action 1/Num 1: Drop Little Boy. **
B/Beacon: Fire in engine 1.
K/Hazard lights: Fire in engine 2.
L/Headlights: Fire in engine 3.
(Alt+)PgUp-PgDn/Auxiliary: Fire in engine 4.

Camera 1: Bomb sight.
Camera 7 and 8: Left and right unner's viewing cupolas.

Alt + Arrow keys + Fire action 1/Num 1 or Mouse for all turrets from their respective seat. Camera numbers in parenthesis.
Tail turret (6) is controlled from the tail gunner's position under the tail fin.

* Also extends the tail bumper that prevents the rear ventral turret or the tail itself from scraping the ground on take-off. This was a real feature.
Red warning lights in cockpit and for flight engineer when landing gear is up.

** I added a thruster to make the Little Boy fall nose down more reliably.
The extremely annoying randomness of the game sometimes sends the bomb into the plane, or any which way but down, but it works most of the time.
The bomb is set to explode a bit off the ground. Sadly the boom is not very impressive. :)

Due to limitations of the tools in Brick Rigs and also due to the plane's design (and my lack of patience and abiility) there is a lot of clipping of the guns and other parts, and I know some areas are rough to say the least.
This is also why the flight controls in the cockpit do not move. They clip through the main windscreen and just go mad if they have any moving parts.
It is what it is, but the plane flies well and drops a nuke so... :)

Have fun!

Ok

I can't get my planes to fly not shitty with a pilot and engines going, so I definitely won't be able to make it fly ok without enhines and some autopilot. Again I'm sorry but my planes and this game are definitely not a priority for me right now with the broken aerodynamics since it's impossible to work with.

I'm sorry but I'm not spending a lot of time trying to make something work for my planes with the aerodynamics as bad as they are. Also since the engine cuts out the plane wouldn't stay stable for long anyway even with an autopilot. Sorry but not happening right now. 😕

I am also meaning like an altitude hold

I'm guessing it's a design choice so vehicles don't just go off into the sunset on their own without a driver which makes sense but it would be a nice feature to have for this kind of situation.
Maybe there is a solution that too stoopid to realise but I have no idea how to fix it I'm afraid. 🤷‍♂️

Yeah did some testing and as soon as you leave the Main/pilot's seat all input from all sensors and buttons connected to it just stop. I even tried setting an on/off button to the engine but as soon as I get out of the seat it too stops giving input so I have no idea if it can even be done sadly.

Ah ok. Thing is the variable throttle is basically that but I don't know why the engine cuts out when you leave the pilot's seat, there's no reason for the sensor to stop working just bc there's no one in the seat since it's "Always on", and I have no real clue how to fix it since the throttle already SHOULD work like that. Sorry.
Also considering how poorly the plens fly in the new update I doubt it would stay level for long even with the engine on. 😕

what i mean is like, say i want to man the gunner at the top, but, since whenever youe exit the aircraft, the engine commits stop and you start nose diving better than in Escape 2 Madagascar

NVIDIA21 - A cruise control for what? This plane? It has the variable throttle already if that's what you mean? Sorry I don't quite understand. 🙂
