Unique Augments Over Legacy

Description
This mod is aimed to enhance as many Unique Augments as possible with more powerful attributes and the aspect of being kept over legacy.

You may refer to the following post for all augments modded:
https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/workshop/filedetails/discussion/2835131965/3472855915029474375/

What is Unique Augments?
Some augments are obtained through specified events or hook quests, which have unique names and fixed attributes (e.g. Cloak of Oldwane or Necklace of Lover). These differ from randomly obtained augments. So we call them Unique Augments.

Unique augments are usually accompanied by unforgettable memories and experiences, such as a gift from lover, or a present from peolple you ever helped.

In vanilla game, however, these unique augments cannot be kept over the legacy (Maybe it's a way to keep balance). You recruited a 5-star legacy hero excitedly only to find his/her unique augments all disappeared, as if he had never fallen in love with a girl or never protected people from monsters. This might disappoint you more or less.

With this mod
You can finally keep MOST Unique Augments Over Legacy accompanied by your heroes' unique memories and experiences! (I say "MOST" here since I CANNOT ensure I've found ALL unique augments. Take it easy as I will update the mod if I find any fish escaping from the net.)

What's more, Unique Augments now have a little more powerful attributes and be marked as artifacts with "star" icons.

@Trekopep Thanks for your explanation. As far as I understand, modders have to manually update the Ranged Accuracy items modded since this stat has no effect any more. OK... In my opinion, it's just something inconvenient but unavoidable, and the current practice seems the best solution, right?
Thanks for developing such a fantastic game!

Yeah, there wasn't really a perfect way to make the adjustment. When we combined Melee and Ranged Accuracy, we adjusted it so that the calculation for Ranged Accuracy just returns the Melee Accuracy instead. This means that any modded abilities that were referencing Ranged Accuracy would still work as expected with accuracy upgrades, but any modded Ranged Accuracy items wouldn't grant any accuracy anymore.

We didn't want to outright get rid of the stat, because that would've completely broken existing mods that used it, and we couldn't just add Ranged Accuracy on top of Melee Accuracy because any items that granted both would now be twice as strong. Unfortunately, game dev often ends up including a lot of "old things we'd like to get rid of but if we do it will break existing things that use it"

So, if I understand correctly, the version of the Crow Amulet found in the Modding Tool archive that comes with the game is still outdated, and doesn't have the new stats found in the base game? (which both use the new Accuracy attribute, and has different values for the other stats than the one in the mod as well...)

@Northstar1989 Already updated. Btw, "Ranged Accuracy" was once useful but abandoned during one of the official updates after this mod had been released for a long time. But the game devs neither remove nor replace the abandoned attribute with the right one in the modding tool, which brings troubles to both modders and mod players.

So, Crow Amulet needs fixing (changing to match current stats), and Drauvspun Cloak is still missing...

Seems the mod *does* act on an outdated version of the Crow Amulet (the current version has different stat effects, and doesn't use the deprecated "Ranged Accuracy" stat...) It is possible to update/fix this?

Just to check: this mod doesn't change the stats of the Crow Amulet in any way, right?

This is the only mod I had installed, but when I reported to the game devs that the Crow Amulet still uses the deprecated "Ranged Accuracy" stat (which doesn't actually work anymore, and thus doesn't affect melee OR ranged attack accuracy), the support guy tried to blame this mod for changing the stats of the augment. Even though the Wiki for the game (obv not based on this mod) ALSO shows the Crow amulet affecting Ranged Accuracy...

It's definitely a good game to revisit after a while away from it! I've been doing a YouTube Let's Play of it that started with a campaign from nearly a year back, in fact...

@Northstar1989 Thanks for you info. Long time not played this game. Maybe I'll check it later.

Thanks for creating this! Somehow, despite having not been updated as recently, this mod is more complete than its only non-Omenroad competitor (Legacy Event Augments)- which speaks to the care and attention that was put into it...

However, there is one unique pre-Omenroad (not everyone has the Omenroad DLC, including me, and a friend I am trying to convince to buy the base game next time it goes on sale who probably doesn't have the budget for the DLC either...) still missing from the English Version augments list, and thus I assume from the mod as well:

Drauvspun Cloak, which is obtained from a difficult roll in the "Abandoned" event

Hope this gets added (or the list updated if it is already in the mod!) And thanks again for the care and attention to this mod!!
