Erin's Azaphrae

Description

An original alien race comes to Rimworld, Azaphrae and their Nuzox companions seek a home away from home and won't hesitate to take by force. Towering muscular humanoids with reptilian and avian ancestry, they represent a change in the power dynamic between females and males. The males are timid and rare, and the females are just as likely lead your colonists as they are to crush heads like so many watermelons. Act like a brat if you dare...

This mod contains only the race, animal, and a scenario, with no extra items or gameplay. No factions will be added.






  • If the race is changed to Azaphrae using character editor or similar, there is a delay in the females gaining the flight ability. Let the game play for a moment and they will receive it.
  • Babies ears aren't attached to their heads for reasons unknown to me at past 10pm.


  • Why?
    - Why not. <3

  • CE?
    - They made them compatible.

  • Where are the preview hairs from?
    - A new hair mod I'm working on.

  • Where was the inspiration from?
    - Nowhere in particular. I just slapped some features together and made it happen.

  • Do they have custom names?
    - No.

  • Facial Animations???
    - Yes, the VE ones.

  • Why only one body type per gender?
    - Because that's how I designed them. They will look odd with other body types.

Hello! Love your mods like always but right now there is a super weird bug that makes my game run really slow. Even if I dont have a Aza in my colony right now. x.X

This mod is so nice, I have needed to remove the HAR dependent races from some of my playthroughs due to undetermined issues / possible incompatibilities somewhere and I miss playing with them! Is there any plan to turn these or the Sephyr into a Xenotypes in the future? That would be amazing.

I love this mod! Only problem is sometimes the pawn disappears if I put them on auto fly. I only wish I had more in my game!

My face wasn't working with VE facial, I needed to add the "Nals.FacialAnimation" comps to the end of the RaceDef_Azaphrae file. Get them from the Sephyr race mod if anyone else is having this problem.

@Daisuke - I'm pretty sure I've already explained as well, all of my races will eventually get full biotech versions, but my real life is very busy right now and will be for a few months, so I ask that you be patient.
