SpatialX Space Race

Description
TLDR : Adds multiple projects to spice up a bit the science victory.



I thought the Space Race in Civilization 6 was a bit restrictive. You never really need more than one Spaceport to acomplish the science victory in opposition of Civilization 5 where the whole empire was focused on construction spaceship parts.

As so, I presents you SpatialX Space Race, a mod with 30 unique assets and 50 new projects to achieve the Science Victory



What this mod do
Now before launching anything into space, you must construct and test your rocket. This is done by completing projects like 'Developing fuel tanks', 'Developing rocket engine' or 'Developing Command module'. New 'Develop' projects will unlock as you progress through the projects and the tech tree.

After that, you can launch your rocket. SpatialX Space Race adds many new mission to do before launching the exoplanet mission. From launching animals and human into orbit, to the exploration of the planets of our solar system and the colonization of mars.

In SpatialX Space Race, using the space and it's ressources is an key element, as it provide powerfull boost for your civilization, but sometimes at the cost of population or electricity. This take form from building your own space station, harvesting the power of the sun with an dyson sphere and importing ressources from meteorites.

And if you feel a little bit too lone up there, you can participate in the creation of the International Space Station when the ISS Competition is voted from the world congress, with new projects that will profit every civilizations in-game once done.

Also to help you in your quest for the stars, you can realise some project who are going to boost your production toward space race projects, like re-usable rockets from SpaceX, Space shutlles or even constructing entire spaceport on the moon.



Some small other changes
With all those projects and bonus, I had to change other things too, that are less easy to illustrate.
One major change is the Spaceport. Now it requires population to be build and it's provide great engineer points. The Spaceport is now also subject to adjencies bonus. I wanted to make the Spaceport more realistic, as in most case you don't launch rocket near cities. Now the Spaceport district can't be built adjacent of the city center. Spaceport are the best when they are in a remote location, where they can't hurt anyone if they explode. As such, they recieve bonus for adjacent marsh, forest, tropical forest, lake, coast, deserts and snow tiles.

I also updated greats engineer and greats scientist who give bonus to the space race. Those who provided +100% production where nerfed to only +75% and those woh provided a production burst have recieved additional charges.



Compability
This mod requires Gathering Storm.
This mod is fully compatible with 'Explorers' by Raubak. "JNR satellites" is compatible with this mod, but some bonus provided by this mod will not be applied to "JNR satellites".
This mod should work with anything as long as it does not remove one of the original project of the base or DLC game.



Known Bugs
-All projects don't appear on the tech tree. This is intended, or else the tech tree would be too much crowed.
-When placing the Spaceport, the adjencies bonus don't show up
-Database Logs report an error about 'ICON_PROJECT_TRAIN_ASTRONAUT', despite this icon working fine in game. Ignore it if you see it.
-I'm not native english speaker, don't hesitate to tell me if you find any grammatical error (i think there is a lot of them).

非常牛比,文案写的很有代入感,像是看了一部作者写某种平行世界小说。但是我对于其中流星雨开采这一项目稍有迷惑,首先,咱们这属于是安入一个后期终结者嘛,倒是无可厚非,合情合理的,但是同时却也意味着-所有的树林瞬间巨量贬值了,我可以脑补这代表一种未来的技术革命,淘汰了原始的改良设施,但让人感觉稍微有点可惜。

@Togedemaru223 Those are normally hidden projects, you don't see them in the tech tree because they are unlocked by completing other projects. This is a technical limitation as putting too much things in a tech will not fit, making the tech ugly. Check in the Civilopedia for each projects requirements

alot of the projects are missing? for example: gigantic fuel tank, practice moon landing, send humans into orbit,... Does anyone know how to fix this?

I like this mod very much since it do enrich the progress of tech success but there are still some questions such as tech success is a difficult way comparing with other ways if you don't open this game.And now,it is much more difficult. please think about make it easier to match other success way?

I would have as a suggestion to make that every with an Industrial Disctrict could build the small projects, generating a unit (exceptionnal convoy) with 1 AP (MP) [I'm assuming that the Empire already has Asphalt road or a Rail Network linking every cities], so there can be a National participation.

I would love that :D
