Resourceful Lite

Description

This is a Lite version of Resourceful 2, which adds 10 new resources (both bonus and luxury) to the game. This is intended to help avoid the Asset Limit Bug with Asset heavy modpacks and also for light games where you just want to spice up the Map a little bit.

It was hard to choose which ones, out of the original 51 resources in Resourceful 2, would be the top 10, but after talking with friends and Civ players, we think that this list is Top Tier. Have a Look at the Screenshots to see which ones are the Top 10 and included in this Mod.

- This Mod is meant as a lite version, and a substitute, of Resourceful 2, hence it's not advised to use both at the same time. Although they won't cause any conflict when both are enabled, that would just unnecessarily add to the asset Limit.

- Poppies and Dates benefit from the Goddess of Festivals Pantheon Bonuses. And all Resources will benefit from Pantheons that grant bonuses to their valid Improvements.

- [GS] Volcano tiles and Lumber Mill Resources: The Bamboo Luxury Resource now requires a new Improvement: Sawmill.
This change is made because previously resource tiles that also contained Forest/Rainforest when hit by a Volcano, the Forest/Rainforest Feature would be removed, which would make it impossible to improve the resource again. Now the Sawmill is added as the requirement to improve the Bamboo, which can't be destroyed by natural Disasters, but only Pillaged.
Sawmill: Can be constructed on tiles with Bamboo Resource. Districts receive +1 Production Adjacency Bonus per Sawmill (for reference, Lumber Mills add 1 Production per 2 of them). Doesn't contribute to the Boost trigger of "Mass Production" technology (there is no workaround for this). Changes have been made to make any requirement that checks for a Lumber Mill to also consider a Sawmill Improvement (in other words, any bonuses applied to Lumber Mill tiles will also be given to Sawmill tiles).

This mod is fully compatible with:
- The Monopolies & Corporations Game Mode.
- All Resource Mods.
- YNAEM
- Earlier Lumbermills
- Expanded Religions

- English
- Spanish
- German
- Chinese
- Russian
- Portuguese (Thanks to @TheColdHands)

Resourceful Lite is the Start of a Series of new Packs of Resource Mods that both Zegangani and I are planning. Please stay tuned for what's coming next!!

I assume bamboo isn't supposed to spawn on tundra forests?

This mod is conflicting with another mod I have or it's an asset limit issue. Not sure. I have about 80 mods on

Does this mod include to harvest luxury resources with a builder? If so, is there a specific technology or is it the correspondending for bonus resources.

Great mod, there seems to be an omission in the Chinese translation. The improvement sawmill is not translated.

@Cooleatack, I think that's an issue with Sucritract's mod, not a compatibility issue between the two

@Chrissant 짜노, Yes, you can harvest all resources.

@Hydragal, Rubber needs the Lumber Mill improvement, which is usually unlocked at Constrcution if Mods aren't involved, and Ebony (from Res2) requires the Saw Mill, which also needs Construction Unlocked. I think Both Resources remove the Forest they are on, so you also need to have researched Mining.
