[3.10]Ultimate Gacha

Description
UPDATED TO 3.10!!!

THE MOD YOU KNEW YOU DIDN'T NEED! NOW BACK FOR MORE

Someone once had a dream.
A dream of a different Stellaris, where we would not be bound by the deterministic mechanics designed by the Paradox gods, but by our own ability, our own luck, our own.
Wallet.

Introducing: The Ultimate Gachamod!
Building from the previous iteration in the form of Gacha Leaders the Ultimate Gachamod goes not a step further but several steps backwards!

A new Stellaris where everything from leaders and ships to enemies and relics are decided only by the flip of a coin and the roll of a wheel!

  • Integrated with game systems! Buy Lootboxes from the Caravanners and build them in your space to open!
  • Hundreds of possible results from the many relics, archeology sites, leaders, ships and much more!
  • Fully configurable! Choose the possible rolls, disable specific results or randomize it all for the best possible experience!
  • Different tiers for rewards for the best Gacha experience!
  • Dozens of new relics with unique effects!
  • New mysterious archeology site to gain powerful rewards!
  • Fully animated custom UI and models!
  • Available for both AI and players!
  • Available for both gestalts and normal empires!
  • Vast mod support, from custom traits to leaders to special ship sizes!
  • No cap! Waste as much time and resources as you wish!

Leader system works like the previous Gacha Leaders mod, if you used that one you are already familiar.

  • Leaders can have from 1 to 5 stars giving them special bonuses
  • Leaders receive random traits, positive and negative, from all compatible traits. Many mods included
  • Leaders can be legendary giving them powerful bonuses
  • Leaders skill and age are determined by star rating while leader species is always your main species

Ships work similar to leaders, having different ratings, but also vary in tier.

  • Ships can have 7 possible rating, from feeble pathetic tier to powerful divine tier.
  • Ratings grant the ships special buffs and other advantages
  • Ships also vary in tiers deciding what components they get
  • The type of ship and components are decided randomly, as well as the number of ships you get per roll
  • Modded ship sizes and components are mostly supported unless they have specific hard requirements

Dozens of new relics with unique effects, some affect only you, some the entire galaxy!
Many of the relics scale with the number of relics you have or affect other mod systems!
And some may not be as friendly as they look!

Plain and simple, you open the box and you gain resources!
Who does't want more?
Resource rewards scale with your monthly production but are not capped! So you can get massive rewards from it!

Some effects cannot be categorized easily but are still possible!
This may reveal powerful advantages for you and your allies!

But sometimes the roll of the dice is not on your side!
You may receive a reward that makes you feel better before you had it! This may be as simple as a small temporary debuff, or something much more sinister!

Every good pay to win game needs it's own whales to keep it floating!
Follow a new chain of ascension perks to improve your odds and rewards and make your civilization revolve not around hard work and skill but around the esoteric random number generation system paradox implemented probably without much though.
I don't see any downsides to that trade!

Now with a fully fledged economy system!
Freemium and Premium currencies you can use to power new buildings, planets, jobs to embrace the power of pay to win!
Discover planets with special districts that change the way you develop them, build planetary lootboxes to gain special buildings using freemium or premium currency and buy lootboxes directly!
As you advance in the whale ascension perks your economy will be more and more centered around the gacha systems.

  • Banjomarx - Backend and icons
  • Quollveth - Frontend and menus
  • MadamLava - Lootbox model and animation
  • Faded - Filter policy on the original gacha leaders (got ported over in full)
  • Kazoi - Inciting incident

See reviews from our satisfied customers! And become the next to embrace the power of the numbers!

For any support you can contact us on discord as we are more likely to see it there!

Unfortunately for personal reasons I need to retire from moderation for at least a while. Anyone who wishes to can pick up any of the mods I was working on

Hey, just seen that the mod's been updated. I tried ti out a while back but had to remove it because so many empires were pulling incredibly OP fleets from lootboxes that they then couldn't afford to support which just ruined the game. Is this still an issue? I don't mind getting some ships from the boxes, just their strength should be relative to how far along the game is.

Actually the pit is NOT technically endless because that was impossible to do within the constraints of the system... but it is very very deep

I'm guessing the Endless Pit of Doom is, in fact, endless. (and also a automation trap)

you should be able to build a megastructure and then open it through the interface when you select it

How do you open the lootboxes in the mod?

This looks like it should work on 3.9 after a quick look over, I need to update some of the buildings/districts to provide parity though most likely with vanilla changes
