This mod adds the “Forgeborn'' as a faction in the game. The Forgeborn Isn't a faction meant to be played as they are instead meant to add more variation into the world. Part of my "KJG Factions'' collection.

Lore:

A Human based nation who focus on strength above all. These people believe that everyone has a chance in achieving greatness be that in gaining political, technological or economical power. This is unlike other places where you are simply born into advantageous positions.

This way of thinking has resulted in an increase in the progression of technology quite quickly. Due to the already existent external factors and the internal factors involving competition with the greatest minds in the Forgeborn. With research at such high rates occurring, the Forgeborn acquired many powerful weapons to add to their arsenals, making them a force to be reckoned with in combat.

Methods in moving up the ranks of the Forgeborn are also a consequence of their beliefs. Every Forgeborn Captain is given a 2 manned “Kindling” class fighter to start with. Only with successive confirmed takedowns on other ships will they be able to gain control over larger ships and crews. This practice has been given the name “Battlecasting” as it “Forges” many skilled pilots and captains in the ranks through rigorous battle experience. The highest honor a captain achieves is when they gain authority over a “Incinerator” class battleship.

The Forgeborn is a faction that is very common towards the center of the map where they completely surround Crystalline space and share space with the Sentinels. Forgeborn ships are recommended to be fought later on, around 2500-5000P, when you fight Crystalline ships as they are very powerful early on and remain so till then. Their ships are numerous, are typically of decent size, a little fast or of medium speed, have strong weapons, and are durable.
