Thank you again!
Basically the same assessment I've made since relase og 1.2 but with a small change of opinion on smaller planes, some can be made to work ok, but there are a lot of weird issues that can pop up at any time it seems.
Planes with greater wing spans though like my bombers are just broken. You can do a loop(!!!!!) with my Superfortress which has a realistic top speed with a full bomb load , but you can't roll past 1/8-1/4 of a roll before it just stops rolling due to the immense loss of speed.
So take off, fly, climb, dive, but if you want to roll and/or turn you'll soon find trouble. basically you need to fly the Superfortress like my Caproni Ca.42 - veeeeery patiently and turn slowly in increments with enough altitude to constantly push the nose down to not lose too much speed.
It's so broken it's not even funny. A loop, sure, a roll? NOPE!
Not to mention the amazing infinity loops you can get caught in because of the dynamic lift depending on angle of attack and the drag and weight issues.
Smaller ones work ok, even though the more "dynamic" and less linear fluid dynamics makes it very hard to trim planes properly, and the HUGE drag of exterior bombs and the HUGE impact on a plane's flight characteristics the tiney fins on a bomb or two can have and the huge emphasis on weight are just broken features IMHO.
Rolling is completely broken. Every time you try to roll you automatically pitch up, losing even more speed than jsut the roll, and you lose an even more ridiculous amount of speed in 1.2 than in 1.1.3. My Lightning went from 600 kph to 160 from ONE roll. Also since the aielrons are SO speed dependant you can start a roll bit lose so much speed in the first few degress of it that it just won't continue, and you lose even more speed trying to go back and then you fall out of the sky stalling. Utterly broken. It was bad enough before with speed loss when rolling and turning but now it's utterly broken.
