Description
This mod adds “Mongrel Hounds'' as a faction in the game. The Mongrel Hounds Isn't a faction meant to be played as they are instead meant to add more variation into the world. Part of my "KJG Factions'' collection.

Lore:

A band of several nations who didn't agree to the alliance that the Coalition suggested in their home system. This band of nations is instead made from mostly from outlaw leaders rather than formal ones. Even with this being the case they aren't behind on technology. Their “scientists”, which can be summed up as madmen with a fascination with technology, research for the Mongrels allowing them to keep up with the other nations.

Mongrels are usually found everywhere in every system as they wander around scavenging old tech to research and add to their ships. This is why you will find Mongrel ships have weapons that the Coalition doesn't make use of. Due to this way of living, Mongrels have no stations and instead use massive ships as mobile stations. The largest of these mobile stations is the “Dram”, a hulking mass with long range artillery cannons that house large crews.

Mongrels typically arent the friendliest bunch around and will gladly attack any whom they can prey upon

Mongrel Hounds are a faction that can spawn at the halfway point from the center of the map all the way to the edge. Mongrel ships can be fought right off the start, be careful not to venture too deep into the center of their regions unless you want to fight bigger ships. Their normal ships are of medium speed, quite durable, and have fair firepower. Their larger “mobile stations” are slow, very powerful, carry lots of R and are very durable as they are functionally immune to weaker attacks. All Mongrel ships are shielded as well. It is recommended to use long range to destroy Mongrel heavy ships.
