Description
THIS VEHICLE REQUIRES A MODIFIED WORKBENCH

"As the First Euranian War continued to escalate, the navies of the world continued to increase the sizes and strength of their ships, leaving any prewar ship hopelessly outdated, as any naval treaties had been essentially ignored by most of the nations taking part in the war. Due to this rapid expansion, Segier realised that they would have to find a more economical solution to making larger and larger battleships, while still being able to effectively take out enemy naval assets.

This line of thinking lead to the creation of the Regalità Class of destroyers, an agile and punchy line of ships capable of wreaking havoc on enemy convoys with her powerful torpedoes. What they lacked in armour and cannons, they made up for in their ability to control the range and circumstances of ship to ship engagements, as well as proving to be a very effective escort ship for merchant convoys, or larger battleship fleets.

It would never become a particularly glorious ship, being overshadowed by more famous battleships, despite being present in most major naval battles of the war. Despite this lack of fame, it was generally well liked by crews, and would only be phased out of service after the war, when they simply couldn't be used any longer due to their age."

- Armament -

2x Dual Mount 100mm Naval Cannons
2x Single Mount 16.5mm Machine Guns
3x Dual Mount 20mm Autocannon
4x Torpedos

Operation

All buttons and keys should be clearly labelled, but I will point out a couple of features / things you should be aware of when using this ship.

90% of this is just random rambling, so it can be pretty safely ignored

-The torpedos are completely unguided, but have heading hold. This means that, with practice, you could hit targets from up to 3+ kilometers away. The torpedos don't come out of the tubes very well, I might come back to fix that, but I can't be bothered to for now.
-Both main cannons have 'ammo elevators' mounted behind them in the deck, which bring up shells from the magazine below deck. Each elevator (two for each turret, for both AP and HE) carries up 9 rounds at a time, which can then be sent back down with the button next to them, where it will automatically pick up more shells and return to the top, for use.
-The big orange life boat on the front floats :). you can also fly with it if you get at least 3 people to grab a handle in each corner and pull up. segierian space magic.
-The ammo racks explode VIOLENTLY when hit, which can sink the boat in seconds, as well as sending huge flames up through the ammo elevator shafts. So be careful of that, I guess.
-This ship likes to rotate weirdly on the spot when you first spawn it, clockwise. I don't know why, nor can I really fix it, but the problem goes away the second you start moving. If you really need the ship to stay still, there are two anchors on the front that do a pretty good job of keeping the ship in place.
-This ship has VERY weak bilge pumps (literally only one large pump in the engine room, I was too lazy to add more) so you must be very diligent about doing damage control after receiving damage. You will also need to be clever about opening and closing doors to let water into the engine bay to be drained once you have sealed the holes (this is very very optimistic thinking, you will most likely drown and die in this boat. at least there are lots of fire extinguishers!)
-This is not in any way optimised for multiplayer, but I was able to get it to load without slowing the game to a total crawl with some friends against another similarly large boat. I really need to stop making full interiors on boats if I'm gonna take them into multiplayer. Low physics detail is INCREDIBLY recommended, everything should still work fine with it on, as that's what it was built around.

Special thanks to AskSomeoneElse for helping with a number of things, such as providing the torpedos, the engine ECU controllers, the radar microcontroller (although I don't know who originally made it), and (with the help of another fellow, Alyosha) helping me fix some problems I was having with the engines.

If you think I missed something, or used something in the vehicle without your permission, please tell me in the comments, and I can give proper credits / find some kind of solution for you.
