Command Station Container - Vulkan-class SSGN

A container-sized command and control station for operating Vulkan-class tactical missile submarines remotely.

Spawn the submarine and command station, go to the command station, flip the power switch, turn on radios and toggle Radio Control. When using the command station to set waypoint coordinates, collision avoidance distance and minimum depth under keel, press the Transmit Orders button to transmit the data back to the submarine.

Radio frequencies will revert to defaults if keypad inputs are set to zero.

The container can be loaded onto the aircraft as a module, thereby establishing a direct link between the aircraft and submarine. This will allow the aircraft to designate targets for the submarine or launch missiles from the cockpit.

• In the container, arm missiles on the submarine and turn on both External Guidance and Alternate Target Data. Turn on Terminal Radar Homing if required.
  
• In the cockpit, select the container module on the module control panel.
  
• Lock onto a target using the aircraft's tracker.
  
• Change the monitor mode to the module display to view the submarine's main monitor (HUD elements will not be to scale).
  
• Press the Deploy Module button on the module control panel to cycle between the submarine's monitor modes.
  
• Launch missiles by pressing the Activate Module button on the module control panel.
