Description
For version 1.2

My take on the iconic De Havilland Mosquito.

It's very much an approximation, not a 1:1 replica. *

This is the nightfighter configuration armed with 4 7.7 mm Browning machine guns in the nose and 4 20 mm autmatic cannons under the nose and all black camouflage.

Alt controls to fly.
W/S: Variable throttle.
S: Ground brakes.
A/D: Ground steering/Yaw.
Up/Down arrow: Pitch.
Left/Right arrow: Roll.
Fire action/Num 1: Guns
X/Disable steering: Landing gear.

* I'm not happy with a couple of areas of the plane, especially the transition from nose to cockpit, but this is what I have the skill, energy and patience to deliver right now. So...

NOTE!
The rear wheel drifting on the ground was such an issue for me that I have made it non-retractable to be able to even take off. Making the actuator Fixed solves the issue so yeah...

F*CK I apparently opened this in 1.3 to change the sight and saved it in 1.3 so now it doesn't work in 1.2 and I can't even open it in the workshop to re-save it. So basically it'll be unavailable until 1.3 is released.

Increased engine power even more since this plane for some reason still is struggling to pick up speed, especially with a payload. So top speed on an empty plane is now a bit too high but it struggles less to get off the ground and accelerate, especially the variants with bombs onboard.

Please let me know if I should make the rear wheel fixed instead of retractable, since it makes takeing off from the ground well nigh impossible. 🙄

FB version with bombs, with rockets and a pure B bomber version coming.
