2x XP Required to Level Up

Description
*This mod is immortal/in a finished state. Pending an extremely specific/major update to the game, or a daring hero with a magic sword; it should work regardless of last time it was updated.

- Double XP required to level up. Simple idea to stretch out time it takes to hit max level in average campaign as I feel like everything levels too fast in vanilla.

- Remove any skill points beyond 40 for heroes too so not dealing with end turn popups/nothing to spend them on(if some update some CA, etc I'll remove that in future

- Version intended for skill dump mods with no removed skill points for heroes and 2 points every 2 levels.

Compatibility:
Works with standalone skill dump mods, mods like Extra Skills etc, as long as they don't edit number of skill points earned per level too, just not intended to be used with one considering probably want more skill points.

Obviously anything edits table above going to conflict/overwrite these changes depending on naming and load order.
(ie mods that alter XP requirements or skill points per level etc)

Otherwise, should be fine just simple edit.

Some of my other mods for TW3
Organic AI AI balance mod that nerfs anti bias, and includes few sliders for MCT to tailor to your preference
Da Mega Mod All me stuffz in onez place ya gits
Druchii Overhaul Mod WIP but contains the two above mods, as well as some mods to raiding and black arc stances

I recommend using Prop Joe's mod manager. If you haven't seen it yet, here is the link.
Download link is in the description, not the mod itself.

can we get a 0.2x modifier version? for both player and AI? Lords, Heroes, and Units? For a faster pace campaign!

Hei ! Thank you for your mod.

There is a table in lua, in lib_campaing_manager.lua which replicates the xp table for scripts. As far as I understand, this table is used in some invasions (norscan gods, etc...)

You may want this table to match the character_experience_skill_tiers table

Thanks you this mod exist. I think it embrace much more the pace of the campaign. In vanilla, legendary lords look like Ferrari in a karting racing.

Hello thanks for the mod. Is it also working for AI and will there be in future version with x3 or x4? It would be amazing for the long campaigns

o7 me too RE: MCT, be cool see stuff comes out for mp once it’s good to go.

@Mr.Soul Yeah I tried to figure it myself, it's pretty neat like that, you really feel the leveling experience and not just rushing 50 in 40 turns or so :D
I still need to figure out how it co-works with mods such as NNOBBS to see if it didn't rush the AI too fastas compared to player, but it feels pretty accurate for now.

Thanks anyway for your answer, and can't wait to try out your "Organic AI" once MCT will support MP !

@Kälrøgh Hey Happy New Year too, it will, the xp table is it's own global effect kinda thing, all characters tie into it, player, AI, any new lords etc.
@kevinwdng my bad too on super late response. Sometimes steam doesn't always notify me when someone comments. Glad found answer though.

Hey @Mr.Soul !!! thanks for the great idea !

I'm feeling the same concerning too fast leveling, however I got a question about it.
Is it working with added characters / lords such a "mixu's LL" or "legendary characters" or it needs dedicated submods to include them ?

Thanks in advance, and happy new year !

Thanks, I never even thought it was done that way, silly me. @kevinwdng do you not see me ask that exact question a littler further down and him answer me?
