[UNSUPPORTED] More Legacies

Tired of being forced to choose between letting your stockpile of renown go to waste or investing in a legacy that doesn’t mesh with the character you’re roleplaying? Are you a power gamer who has finished all the vanilla legacies and wants more to spend your hoard of renown on? Simply want more choices because choice is good and fun?

The answer: More Legacies!

More Legacies adds, as the name might suggest, 10 new legacies:

• Chivalry, focused on romance schemes, prestige, and knights
  
• Devotion, focused on piety and temple holdings
  
• Dominance, focused on dread and warfare
  
• Industry, focused on developing your domain and working with your councillors
  
• Influence, focused on control, vassal opinion, and schemes of all types
  
• Mercantile, focused on income and relations with independent rulers
  
• Seafaring, focused on coastal warfare and interacting with different cultures
  
• Temptation, focused on seduction and luxury
  
• Tradition, focused on same faith and same culture opinions
  
• Witchcraft, focused on otherworldly knowledge

Devotion, Industry, Influence, and Temptation are available to anyone. Witchcraft requires the dynasty head to have either a witch secret or the witch trait. The rest have some restrictions based on the dynasty head’s culture. Hopefully, these are loose enough to not be overly limiting to player choice, while still keeping them somewhat immersive. Most are available to at least two ethos and several traditions. But we don’t want Seafaring dynasties in land-locked areas, do we?

Updated for version 1.13.*. Hopefully, it will keep working until the legacy system is revamped (or something used for the modifiers) but I am no longer supporting this mod.

More Legacies is ironman, save game, and achievement compatible.

More Legacies is in English and includes localization for Spanish (thanks Kordi), German (thanks positief161), Korean (thanks WKML), and Chinese (thanks Marcus). Additional translations can be downloaded at their respective workshop pages for Russian (by Lord Inquisitor) and Italian (by Woldren).

More Legacies does not require any DLC but this mod was balanced around having them. If you have the Royal Court, a few of the perks give court grandeur bonuses. If you have either of the flavor packs, their traditions are used to help determine legacy availability.

More Legacies should be compatible with all other mods, including ones that add legacies or change renown costs, since it doesn’t touch any vanilla files.



All the legacies’ illustrations are from the game. The icons are adapted by me from other icons in the game. I made the thumbnail. The font in the thumbnail and this description is the Paradox King Script.
