Description
BBA Aircraft Designer Rebalance by GOC Team

Buckle the ♥♥♥♥ up, Gentleman!

This is large vanilla modification, that improves the airplanes designer, air experience and some other stuff, like rocketry. It adds a lot of new modules, rebalances hulls, ai designs and ai behavior. Be careful when using it with other mods.


Detailed description:

ROLES CHANGES:
Vanilla role system was somewhat easy and funny, but extremely boring and senseless. Now each plane class has its own pros and cons, leading to better experience. Your CAS can carry more stuff, but they are more expensive and worse in air battles. You heavy fighters are faster and cheaper than tac bombers, but lack their range, thrust and survivability. You got it.

HULLS CHANGES:
All hulls got more slots and some of them are now specified only for certain module type, like "Design features".
Inter-war small aircrafts are now more agile.
Added "hull" for medium naval bomber and small scout plane.
Older hulls are now unable to carry modern types of weaponary.
Heavy and medium planes hulls now provide some thrust by base to show their engines higher HP output. Really, was funny to see "Xp-50 style" light fighter, lifting more, than "He-111 style" bomber.
Changed aircraft hulls stats to introduce more complex and deep system. Now hulls include speed modifiers, advanced air superiority numbers and etc.
Also now they have 1 air and ground attack base. For AI purposes.
Hulls now have more reliability, higher IC cost and more slots. IC cost was transfered from engines, to match the historycal cost of hull/engines.
Air range seriosly rebalanced, more heavy modules you have, less is your operational distance.


MODULES CHANGES:
ENGINES
One engine variant now give more agility, while 6 engines provide more defense.
Engine cost reduced.
Three engine variants were nerfed due to being cursed by design.
Fuel consumption redused by around 20% to allow larger air fleets.
WEAPONS
Double MG`s now give boost to air attack, like they are used to adjustment fire.
Air cannons now give less attack to match the balance and historycal accurace both.
Tank busters now give a little air attack, YaK-9T goes ahead.
Bombs, bomb locks and all other stuff is now showed in stats all the time, only debuffs are mission related.
Bomb, rocket and naval weaponary attack numbers rebalanced.
Banzai crafts are now effective.
Most of weaponary cost less, but reduce reliability.
Most of weaponary reduce your agility.
ADDITIONAL MODULES
Some special modules effects were transfered into % numbers.
Armor now reduces agility by bit, affects speed and weight in different weight.
Additional fuel tanks reduce defence by % based calculations.
Floats and fkying boat modules increase defense in naval missions.
Non-strategic materials reduce overall stats of craft severely. Wooden planes are not allowed.
Electronics are rebalanced to give their bonuses in % based numbers, also they received lower cost.
Defense turrets lost some of their attack, but now improve your plane defense. Turrets also cost less.


MISSION TYPES AND STACKING
If you launch the game, you will see that planes mission type pool is selected by the arnament it has. And if the pool is different, the planes will not merge their wings. That would to either co-existing of fighters-with-bombs and fighters-without (all logistical and inheritance problems are here, your aces will fly on biplanes till `45), or to restraining you from putting on extra modules on different craft types.
So to solve this problem, now practically all planes (exception are heavy crafts + tac bombers) can perform a wide list of missions. This allows to easily merge your wings and carry your starting pilot group to the endgame. Also it allows AI to go nuts a little bit, but it is partially compensated via its auto-designed planes.


AI CHANGES
For each major state and their direct sidekicks were created ai_equipment plane design templates alongside priority changes. You will see strategic bomber spam from allied nations, CV fighters of Japan and soviet CAS effort. Quite beautiful you know. Also may be used by lazy players.
Due to mission pool enlargement AI now sends its planes on all kinds of different missions, so be ready to see either deadly CAS assault by hundreds of fighters with bombs, or retarded attack with 2x light mg on capital ships.


RELIABILITY
The older "Always 80%" reliability system was replaced with the new variant. Now every hull, depending on its modernity, has fixed amount of reliability, which can be improved or lowered by different modules.
This system targets the 80% reliability as ideal, so there will be no 0% or 200% reliability variants.
Go ahead, create «Летающий Авиационный Гарантированный Гроб».


OTHER STUFF
Fuel consumption reduction:
It was reduced, not really much to say. Enjoy your several additional wings, but remember: you still have to supply them with a huge amount of black gold.
Transport planes fix:
Air supply missions now provide 10 times more resources (2.0 supply instead of 0.2), but transport planes now cost 25 IC and still can be shot down easily. It allows your forces to have part of their fuel and shells even in harsh conditions, but still require green air and can`t be abused by large blobs.
Technologies touch:
Some technologies of air/rocketry categories now unlocks earlier. New modules were added to those technologies. Three new torpedo-weaponary variants were added to "Naval_support" technology category. Also some minor changes in rocket production.
Air training:
Air training now brings three times more xp points. Scout planes can be trained now. End.

KNOWN ISSUES
AI sometimes acts retarded when chooses air missions for wings.
AI can stuck at air progression because of unresearched guns or engines.
No FRA plane designs so far. If you may call it a problem.
Creator fatigue.

Due to the enlistment of uploader this is a legacy version now. It will remain fully operational until "Arms Against Tyranny" expansion release. All ideas from the mod was transfered to a new one. Subcribe to it, please.

Marine of death, кайзерредукс мб затрагивает роли для самолётов, а аэромоде были добавлены несколько оных. Наиболее вероятная причина крашей. Если умеешь - выпили среднего морбобра и легкого разведчика, возможно поможет.

С данным модом происходит вылет в Kaserredux, что странно, ведь последний не добавляет новых самолётов. Подобной проблемы нету с NSB Tank Rebalance и MTG Fleet Rebalance

Yes, during the summer time. Planning some fixes and stat rebalancing, but not smth too big. Mb will look for other similar mods for ideas.
