Impressionable Children

Description
Makes children and teenagers easier to convert to a different ideology, and makes classroom teaching gradually convert the pupil to the teacher's ideology.

Since I got some comments about this:
This is not intended as social commentary.
Pawns joining your colony with a different ideology causes a lot of issues, so most people will try to convert all recruits. Often that involves imprisonment. This mod tries to add a softer approach for those that would prefer not to do that to child pawns. Teachers in particular were chosen because they tend to spend a lot of time with the child.

Yes, only classroom teaching.

Just to be sure:
This only applies to classroom teaching? It does not involve "watch work" learning? I often have refugees with different ideologies interacting with my children... or the other way around actually.

And a +1 for the 1.6 update if possible :)
any chance thisll be updated to 1.6?

The only "social commentary" I saw from this was that the people you learn from shape who you become as a person. I guarantee that 99% of children who would call themselves part of a certain religion, do so because the adults in their lives are of that religion. It makes even more sense when you acknowledge that "teaching" in this game isn't the kind most of society has in real life, it's one-on-one tutoring, which is even more likely to have an impact on how you turn out than someone teaching a full class.

It might not be intended as social commentary, but if the boot fits...

Thank you for your answer. And yeah, all the other errors... they're just there. Some of them are not there (I removed a mod that adds mini-horns and then added it again, and for some reason, they game won't stop complaining even though the mod functions perfectly fine), and most errors were there from the very beginning of the game but didn't affect my game in any meaningful way.

It was in a state that is not supposed to be able to happen. I'm guessing something went wrong when saving or loading. You should be fine adding the mod again as long as you load a save made after you removed it.

I've made an update that makes it handle errors such as that one, so once Steam actually updates it for you, it shouldn't happen again (including for saves with that error).

There is a big risk of other issues with that save unrelated to this mod though. It throws a lot of errors when loading.

Not sure how exactly that happened but yesterday, this mod suddenly broke AI of one of my colony's children - he was wondering around aimlessly and doing nothing while constantly trying to floordraw. Removing the mod immediately solved the problem.

Here's the log: https://gist.github.com/HugsLibRecordKeeper/935325728ee32b65bbb330625def57c0

I hope something can be done about it because I really like this mod and has been using it for multiple playthroughs.

@Snorri_Karlson

It is also the fact that some "groups" are known to be very toxic..even amongst themselves, so other players who wish the community to have at least some level of quality see no choice but to push against these, if you ask me, they diserve each other, i only comment when it is "internal" polictics, AKA : entitled fans of big modders trying to force other creators to adapt their mods.

And i too am a fan of the BONES mod.
